This colorful triggger fish Humuhumunukunukuapua'a is the State fish of Hawaii. Humuhumu means " to sew pieces together" ; nukunuku is "snout", and pua'a is "pig". Hawaiians call this patchwork fish the "pig of the sea". Wearing a pretty orchid blossom on its head this fish comes with a passport, name, number, birthday and story. Fish is about 9" long. Designed in Hawaii.

This plushy is the perfect conduit through which I can express my deep love of this fine fish. It is a god among fish. So much humu to balance against the nuku, you know? I have never been to Hawaii, but I can only assume that these are sold everywhere - and rightfully so.The only issue I have with this purchase is that I was not formally advised that I could not have my humu plushy registered as a therapy animal. Thanks a lot, Obama.

Gotta love this great little humu!
He's soft and measures roughly 8.5" long and 4" high. We liked the information card that was attached to him, too.
