Work very well being oil based. I am a decorator and this is the worst smelling paint I have ever used. So....leave all windows open all day if you use it in the house and shut the door in the room your working in. I used it on the microwave internals . Works well and is super tough.wont yellow either .

I bought this based on (a) its good value and (b) the small tin size suitable for a small job since I only had a few pipes to paint following a radiator install. The tin arrived rusted/corroded at the base, presumably from storage in damp conditions, but thankfully when opened the paint was OK. However the smell was horrific - I'd seen this mentioned in other reviews and thought they must be exaggerating. They weren't. Its a truly sickening smell, nothing like paint, more like some kind of industrial solvent. It reminds me of the smell you get from petrochemical plants that process hydrocarbons, not of typical domestic paint. You definitely need to take great care to air the space when you are painting.The paint does dry relatively quickly for gloss and gives a hard finish. Just be aware that it gives off much higher VOCs than other gloss paints, and you should only use in a really well ventilated space and definitely not in a room you sleep in for at least 2-3 days, the smell is that strong.

I'm not usually one for writing reviews but I have to write about this paint. I bought this to paint a yellowish radiator and wanted to give it a new lease of life. The tin is quite small, but I did the whole radiator with only using a quarter of the tin. I put a thin layer on the rad and it has great coverage. Only needed one coat. Took about 24 hrs to dry completely but its well worth it. The smell is quite strong but I expected that. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Glad I made this purchase. Will definitely buy again when needed.

After painting the smell is very strong however it will eventually go looks good and oes on easier

Coverage is great if you prepare your surface properly. However I only painted the radiator in question around 6 weeks ago and it's already started to turn a tinge of yellow.

The paint is nice and thick and covers the radiators well. However, the smell is overpowering, revolting and smells like gasoline. It stank out the whole house for days and I could taste it on my lips. It gave me a sore throat and I was coughing up phlegm - I hope I haven't irreparably damaged my lungs! Although I aired out the house, I could still smell it on my bedsheets and it gave me a headache. I had to wear a mask in my own home to cope with the smell. This is a health hazard. I bought two to cover all my radiators but will NOT be buying it again.

Lovely paint, did a great job. However, the smell. I didn't see reviews until I'd purchased, thought I'd go ahead, I regret it at the moment. It stank my house out depsite only using at the back room downstairs. Neighbours smelt gas outside my house but the engineers could only smell paint! Turns out I did in fact have a gas leak but I couldn't smell it because of said paint! 😳 be prepared and check for gas leaks before use 😂

Very easy to apply only needed one coat. Fumes are quite strong make sure windows or doors can be opened to allow air in
