These bags are work horses. Sturdy material. They hold a lot of stand. I really like the removable inner sleeves for the sand. They wrap around the leg of the canopy, and then using the metal loop you attach the separate straps to the top of the canopy (in a spot where it won't damage the frame). I had my canopy up for 5 straight days of very windy and rainy weather in south Florida. We're talking 20+ MPH winds with 30+ gusts. The canopy was never in danger of flying away, these bags kept this sucker on the ground.The only issue is it didn't keep the canopy from sliding. Granted, this was in my backyard where three of the four legs were on relatively smooth concrete (only 1 leg was in grass). On dirt or maybe even asphalt I would suspect there would be less sliding. But in these tough winds on a somewhat smooth service, while it kept the canopy from launching it could not keep it from sliding.In the end my canopy eventually gave out on a particularly bad night. The frame and cover just could not handle the heavy wind and rain. But you know what did? These bags.I definitely recommend these.

I went to the beach last night and filled up all 8 bags, one split in the bottom but I believe it was my fault. When I tried to get the bags into the outer bags I found that I need to only have the bags 50 to 75% filled.I'll just say take it slow and bring a bucket to fill up with sand to bring home. Once I took enough sand out to actually get the inner bags into the outer, everything went smoothly and then I back filled from there.The good - once everything is put together these are heavy duty and work great! The handle makes transportation easy!Only draw back beyond me over loading the inner bags, the strap downs were not long enough for our tent. Honestly I don't trust them any ways and have ratchets straps which allows for more strength and maximum flexibility!YES - Buy this - be smart when you fill the inner bags!

The bags that came with my canopy, weren't gonna be good enough. I upgraded to these. Good quality. The inner bags could be resigned to close better. Also the strap that is used to attach to the top of the canopy frame (included in purchase) is not long enough. Ended up using rachet straps. Used them a few times at craft show, works well, especially on windy days.

Bought these to serve (2) purposes; hold down my pop up tailgate tent & to use as weighted bags for my pull sled. These bags are heavy duty, very well made. Able to fill each one with about 20 pounds of sand. I liked the extra internal sleeve to hold your material, just an extra layer to make sure they don’t spill. The handles are heavy duty, you could honestly use these as exercise bags for strength training. Happy with the price & quality.

Solid bags without Velcro to wear out. Don't expect leak proof as these bags are drawstring and not sealing. Use something like a bag from a bread loaf with the twist tie if you want leave sand in them. I would also suggest Chap stick or possibly polyurethane on the snaps and hardware to slow down corrosion in a salt environment. Nice heavy build. I need to find a drawstring bag to store them in when not in use.
