Draper D 90002 Lifting Tongs

After moving house we inherited an old patio that needed a bit of attention as some of the slabs were a little loose. With this my husband was able to lift the slabs that needed attention and fill under to get them to sit better. This tool alllowed him to lift them without breaking or chipping the sides.It is only an old patio but will be perfectly fine now it is all stable and we can concentrate on the other items on the long never ending list

I bought this because another reviewer said he'd laid 3 x 2 slabs with it. It broke on the first lift. Had there been just a little bit more weld it would probably have held. The tool would be great I'm sure for lighter loads but not for anything heavy.

This is a simple but very effective tool for moving a decent number of bricks or blocks at one time.I chose the Draper model as from my experience Draper provide tools at a mid point of quality and price. Buy too cheap and the tools are poor, buy to expensive and you are paying for a brand name. Draper fall nicely in the middle and don't usually disappoint.This tool performed perfectly for me and is nicely made and finished and represents very good value for around £10 as this will save you a lot of time and effort even if you only ever have to use it once.

I don't normally write reviews. However this will help others like me, having sholder and elbow pains. Build my extension, lifting heavey concreate blocks in place with the tool was a blessing, made it easier to move. Highly recommend, the tool is well constructed.

Could do with being made with a comfortable 2 handed grip!
