The media could not be loaded.  Keyton Portable Ice Maker quickly delivers ice which is perfect for parties! This ice maker is extremely user-friendly! When you open the lid you will see an ice basket and an ice scoop. You will remove both of these and clean the inside, basket and scoop. You will see inside that it is very deep with a "Max Fill" embossed on one side. This is your water tank that holds about 6 cups of water without surpassing the max line. Now you simply plug in the power cord and press the "ON/OFF" button to power on. You can now decide what size ice you prefer. The LED above "S" (small) and "L" (large) will illuminate with the chosen selection. To change the selection you press "Select". I find there to be little size difference between the large and small sized ice. I have noticed that the large ice does not stick as much as the small ice.The duration of the ice cycle from the moment I pressed on was about 10 minutes to finish the first batch- each batch of ice is 9 cubes. Following the first batch of ice the additional batches were ready (approximately) every 7 minutes. I would say the total time to fill, based on the large sized ice, was 45 minutes. When the ice basket is filled the LED above "Ice Full" will come on. Every time I used the ice maker the ice basket would be full before the water tank empties. I would pour more water in to the tank before you start the machine again. Overall, this is incredibly well-made with quick performance! I had this ice maker for just under 2 months. I loved it, it cranked out the ice quickly, fun for parties and we stored the ice in zip lock freezer bags for use. Unfortunately it broke suddenly, the add water light came on and would not go off. The machine would not recognize when the reservoir was full to pump the water inside the ice making mechanism. I tried everything to fix. No luck. I have sent the machine back asking for a refund. I give it two stars only because I did like the machine, perhaps I just got a lemon. May try another brand.

Had unit about a week now and made several ziplock bags of ice for storage. Using distilled water for clearer cubes. Think it will be just right for small get togethers and use at the bar area. After unit dumps ice in tray I put in zip lock and into the freezer. Can stock up some in advance if expecting heavy use by company.I noticed the cubes seem to get thicker the colder the water in reserve tank gets (when ice melts and drips back into the reserve tank), so I plan on keeping my gallon jug of distilled water in the ice box till needed to fill the unit and see if that helps.

Now it has broken down and I have been jerked around about the warrantee or replacement .Been trying to get someone to do something with no results . now I will not buy any type of large items again on Amazon for the stress of trying to get this done is unbearable .

The last one I ordered tasted like plastic, but this one is good fits easy on the counter top

We plugged it up, added water and it cranked out the first ice cubes in about 9 minutes. It continued to function properly until the water was all made into ice. The LOW WATER lamp then informed us so. Its not as large as some portable ice makers and is nearly silent.

Works great for putting in drinks. Not so well to keep big cooler full of ice.
