I am impressed with this kit. The handles are well made and comfortable. The wire is easily inserted and it grips it well. You can even adjust the wire length after pulling hard on the wire just by sliding the handle down pulling the wire through and clamping it again. I used it to cut a cistern off tiles that had been stuck on with mastic. I had nearly given up - then I tried this kit and it worked a treat. The gold wire is best as it is slightly abrasive and very strong. Despite what others have said, I think this kit is durable and if you assume the wire is a consumable, it should last a long time.

Once in the correct place worked really well. Don't think for one min this is an easy job!! Best done with two people as difficult to hold both handles in the correct place for best cutting. Plenty of wire supplied.

Comes with various wires and cables. I purchased these to use removing metal signs stuck on with tape.

I had to cut some silicone sealant around a hand-wash basin which I could not get a knife into and this did the jib relatively easily. The handles are excellent and the wire clamps work without slipping. All round a sound piece of kit.
