It is a great feature that once a cut is started on a box you can stop pressing on the lever. For people who are having trouble turning the setting wheel, I found it works fine if you push down on the wheel while turning it. This fact is not included in the directions and I was having trouble until I discovered the secret. Overall a very good and safe knife. It should be a snap to change the blade. I wish it took a standard blade, though, because I have a good supply of them.

We use to use this style at work, and they switched to some super safety cutter, these are still the superior choice.

I got this as a safe and convenient tool for cutting hay bale strings. It stays on the golf cart where the children have access to it. The blade is sharp but shallow and does exactly what I need it to. No fear of sharp edges getting hidden by loose hay if the tool is dropped or forgotten. The blade retracts as soon as you release the handle. I've been using it 2 months already and we're nowhere close to needing one of the replacement blades stored in its handle. Recommended UNLESS you need to cut deep things.

Flimsy

Awesome blade with length settings. Easy to use, simple trigger to operate with a good grip. I don’t feel like I’m going to drop it if I’m in a hurry. Solid construction, works better than the thumb slide blades.

Only aggravating thing is the wheel that adjusts moves while in your pocket

Okay so here's the pros:-includes 3 blades total; 1 appropriately in the knife ready to use, and 2 replacement blades within the handle....- i have to have a knife that self-retracts at work, due to safety rules...- the blade already in the knife is as sharp as I'd expect it to be, cutting through tape and cardboard with ease...- there are 3 different settings for blade length, PLUS a setting that Locks the blade from being pressed...- the option to use an edge guide on either side of the blade, that easily pushes out and pulls back in...Cons:-it looks rather cheaply constructed... The materials they chose to utilize look both a little tacky, and also make me wonder how long this would actually last if I used it everyday for work, before snapping in two or more pieces...
