Fun, whimsical wall art...with a few minor annoyances
This is a fun, whimsical decor item. I have another similar map print cardboard deer from my wife a few years ago; so this one compliments it well.I am docking an otherwise 5 star product value rating by one star for:- terrible instructions. The photocopy (see image) references numbers for each piece, however the pieces are not labeled. You'll figure it out, but would be easy to incorrectly order pieces around the neck/head- pieces don't fit all that snug, so be cautious when handling after you've assembled- some of the laminate (not cardboard) edges are sharp.. I knicked my finger while assembling- hanging is a bit awkward, as you'll need two rather long nails with heads to hold against wall

Fun project.
This is a nice little puzzle. It came boxed well so that the cardboard pieces wouldn't get bent. It came with directions but they were not written, instead they were a diagram of which piece goes where. My thirteen year old son was able to put it together without any help, just following the directions. It took him about one hour. Completed it is about 2 feet tall (not including the antlers) and looks to stick out of the wall another foot and a half.It is difficult to see in the picture but the cardboard has a pattern on it that is similar to wood. The one suggestion is that you need to put this together with a bottle of glue and let it dry between stages. If you chose to do it as we did without glue you will find the pieces are lose and prone to falling off/apart. This is particularly true with the antler and outside pieces.

Cute
This was easy to put together. Some people said they needed glue, but the only part I would say that it's necessary for glue is on the antlers. They are a little heavier and pull out and down. I didn't glue them, and they still stayed in place, but there is a space between the two pieces. Not a huge deal. The only thing I had a problem with was the hanging piece on the back of the deer. They provide two nail pieces for it to slip onto when hanging. I couldn't get it to sit on it properly, so I chucked the two nail pieces and used my own hanging nails.

Smaller than I thought
Love the overall of this item. I bought it to go over my mantel for Christmas. I just wish it was a bit bigger.

... together in about 15-20 min and the result was adorable! it is a little small
Hubby put it together in about 15-20 min and the result was adorable! it is a little small, but as it's going in a tiny nursery it is perfect. Only real flaw is that the smaller parts of the antlers are wiggly/loose but since it will be stationary it shouldn't be a problem.

I’d pass on this one
Not the best quality. You have glue the parts to get it to stay together. It also has a strong chemical smell to it. I had to paint to get rid of the odor. Overall I would recommend passing on this item and purchasing one that is made of actual wood.

It must be super glued before mounting it or even laying it down ...
Smaller than I predicted but very cute. It must be super glued before mounting it or even laying it down on the couch. Easy and fun to put together (even though the directions are not in English).
