Canterbury shorts are my rugby short of choice! Best quality, it took me about 4 years (of year around rugby) before I had to replace my Canterbury shorts. After all that time, I had the crotch seam bust open, but it was easily fixable with a little sewing. I got these as my back-up pair

Quality that you would expect from Canterbury, easy and comfortable to wear and a great fit. No pockets, but who needs them on the pitch?!
