Not sure what discrepancies I should've expected before purchasing considering the nature of the other reviews but, put bluntly and briefly, the phone is phenomenal for it's price tag. Haven't encountered a single bug whatsoever and is impressive through and through. Definitely a must buy when on sale.

A great everyday phone that doesn't look like an obvious gaming phone. Does everything that a reliable android device is capable of doing these days.

Phone worked for 2 months, now makes a weird sound a few minutes into the call or doesn't work at all, mostly works with WhatsApp calls. (Tried two different phone companies) Also, the listing did not indicate that the phone was used even though I read everything before purchasing. Not being familiar with the brand did not realize the price difference. Next the phone did not come with everything that was listed and it was locked when it arrived, had to wait a few days for the company to respond. There respond was to suggest I return it by a certain time. Being overseas at the time made that impossible. Hence, less than a year later had to shop for a new phone.

Red Magic 6R phone has excellent poor thermal conductivity as soon as you turn on the game the phone becomes very hot. Also, the phone has just over two hours of battery life while playing games and less than six hours without gaming. But if you don't consider whether the phone is hot or not then it is good for gaming. I'd summarize the pain points as poor battery life and the tendency to get hot while in use.

I see complaints of a lack of 5G on verizon… it is NOT because of the phone. It is literally verizon. They dont allow unlocked phones to access 5G unless the phone was originally a verizon phone that got unlocked… yall are literally rating this phone low for something they cant control. Saw one review that said “very disappointing” 🙄… the only way they could fix this is by locking their phones to verizon and u purchase it at a retail verizon dealer…u wanna pay $700 for a phone 2 generations old? I dont either… save ur complaints for verizon

such as being able to use "full screen mode" navigation buttons while using another launcher/desktop. More customization in the status bar is a must since pulling it down fully brings it down which is annoying. Phone runs hot while gaming but that's expected I think.Gaming:No headphone jack but there's a dongle added so thx ig.You will cover the speaker while gaming because it's side mounted.Hot!!!!UPDATE:This phone seemed to run hotter and hotter each day I used it the point it was 60+C. Cannot recommend. Returned.

Amazing phone for gaming. Def worth a buy. Just wasn't happy since it wasn't compatible with my service provider for now..

Worth it for the price compared to other phones in the same price range !
