Introducing our new Classic shuttle especially designed for rigid heddle weaving. The shuttle is LONGER, 15 inches, with a low profile, making it easy to pass through the open shed of rigid heddle looms. It is made of solid maple in the USA and will hold long (6 inch) quills so that the shuttle will hold a lot of weft. Easier and faster than a stick shuttle. Designed by a weaver for weavers.

Rigid heddle boat shuttle
Just as advertised. It works well with a rigid heddle loom- long, thin , lightweight and the quills hold lots of yarn- quills roll freely. I am using it with my cricket loom, my ashford rigid heddle loom and my flip loom from schacht.Great boat shuttle for rigid heddle looms.You can also wind the quills at hand easily- doesn't require a $130 bobbin winder

Bobbin Problem
Don't care for the bobbins. Cardboard? Not practical.

Just what I needed
I was however surprised by how long it actually is. This is NOT a small shuttle only a low profile shuttle. It is nearly as wide as my little Emilia! Of course it has that wonderful Glimarka quality and finish. It will make my next weaving project go much faster.
