Not at all what I expected. Next time I will pay attention to the oz. per package size I order.

Just as good as name brand

what attracted me to this was the presentation and this was supposedly a gift.thinking it would come in a container packed the way it was shown.Frustrated they came in a box...

Product was as expected, a real simple snack that holds shelf life and can be used as a MRE or Emergency supply.

Don't get me wrong the sausage taste as good as hick farms, the cheese is decent. The way they packaged the product in a bubble wrap envelope resulted in all my crackers totally destroyed. But I could forgive all of that except I'm on a special diet and I am supposed to avoid all nitrates and I searched all over amazon to find a small portion that I could test to see if I liked it. I specifically chose this Beef Backpacking Bundle because it said no nitrates. To my horror and shock when I gazed upon the ingredient label what did I see? Sodium Nitrate. What did I do next? Deliberately disobeyed a direct order and tried some anyway. The product tastes great, but I don't know, if you can't trust someone to be honest in little things how can I even be sure this is beef summer sausage and not horse meat? No trust = I will never buy another one of their products again. Buyer beware. The branding and packaging isn't even the same, the product I bought was USINGER'S original, but the product I got was DELI DIRECT, more lies. Again, if they can't keep their branding and ingredients straight how can I trust them or their products? I thought there were laws against false advertising but apparently, they're no longer enforced, and you can't trust amazon to keep their vendors honest either big surprise, right?

Gave one as a gift and my friend thought it was fantastic also. The cheese is so good that I bought a sampler pack of Farmer's Market cheese varieties. Don't get me wrong the whole thing was good, the cheese was extra special...kid if a med sharp white cheddar with peppers.

I loved that it has an extended shelf life. I wouldn’t use these for entertaining, nor a gift. Not very flavorful. Cheese tasted similar to Kraft, and sausage was very dry.
