Mallet was a little smaller than I expected but it still does the job.

My daughter is 36 and has Aspergers and lives with us. She uses the mallet to crush whole spices. Somehow she lost her other one and I was glad to find one available similar to the one she lost. It arrived in just a couple of days and she was very happy! When I told her it had arrived and showed it to her she informed me she had found her old one but was very glad to have a backup one on hand.

Amusingly miniature mallet. About the size of a toy to hit wood pegs. You have to see it to believe it. See Photos enclosed. Size description is misleading since it involves both items. A scaled photo and actual head dimensions would have been more helpful. In fairness to the company, it is well made and heavy.It's just too small for a man and probably most women. Returned immediately.

I was skeptical when I seen the size of the mallet, Little did I know that this mallet which is on the smaller size could do the damage it did. Both sides of the mallet jagged and the slicker , both do the job breaking down the tissues of the meat I tried the mallet on beef chicken pork. I would absolutely recommend this product. I like the hook placement for hanging on the end very convenient for storage.

This mallet is the perfect size. It tenderizes meat wonderfully. I have had several meat tenderizers in the past but they weren't as solid and durable as this one is. With this meat tenderizer I am able to flatten out a chicken breast in a snap which is a lifesaver on busy nights. I can make chicken strips for my kiddos in less than 5 minutes and dodge the guilt of hitting up the drive-thru!

My husband kills a lot of wild game, and I've went though a lot of meat tenderizers. This one is smaller than most, but the size causes way less mess. This is so much sturdier than what I've bought at kitchen gadget retailers. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this! I've ordered a few more fOr Christmas.

This is a great meat mallet and tenderizer. Its very sturdy and heavy. The temderizer is perfect, stromg enough to get theough tough meat so the marinade cane soak in. Definately would reccomend it
