Did this work for anyone ?

I would say that it works to some extent, but I wouldn’t be expecting miracles. I am African American. I get very dark marks when I get acne and it has lightened up those marks significantly in the 2-3 months that I’ve been using it. They do still exist though. It also does brighten my skin as well. My only gripe is that it BURNS some days.

Is this similar to clinique's clarifying lotion

I don't know, because I've not used that clarifying lotion?? Very sorry I dont have an answer. I can tell you it takes your dead skin cells off & gives you a somewhat dewy finish.
