Not bad for a protein snack mix. Good flavor. Cheaper here than in the stores.

Nice snack but don't eat too much, the taste stays in your mouth a little too long for my liking.

Highly recommend, so good!
This stuff is AMAZING! If you're following a Keto/low carb diet, this is one of the best snack options I've come across. It's similar to Chex Mix, sure it's not exactly as good but the carb count is low, so you shouldn't expect it to be the same as other carb rich snacks. The pretzel pieces are a little hard and that would probably be my only complaint, aside from it being a little expensive.

Where are the pretzels???
Delicious, crunchy and fresh. However there was only one pretzel in the whole bag, 3 almonds and 2 cashews. So picture on the bag isnโt representative of the proportion of product items. For the price, not sure I will order again.

Why did you change the recipe?
Iโve been a loyal Catalina Crunch customer since the early days โ back when the brand stood out for offering truly keto-friendly, low-carb, high-fiber snacks and cereals. The Traditional Snack Mix used to be my go-to: only 5g net carbs, made with pecans, cashews, and no added sugars. It felt like a smart choice โ especially for people managing diabetes or trying to eat clean while still enjoying something crunchy and flavorful. But something changed โ and not just the recipe. They quietly reformulated the Traditional Snack Mix without telling customers. The net carbs jumped to 8g, the protein was bumped to 10g, and the pecans were removed โ replaced with almonds (higher in carbs) and soy protein crisps (a cheap filler used to inflate protein content). This isnโt just a new recipe โ itโs a cost-cutting strategy wrapped in a โprotein upgradeโ disguise. Letโs be honest: pecans are expensive, almonds are cheaper, and soy protein isolate is dirt cheap by comparison. That tells me this wasnโt just about nutrition โ it was about the bottom line. Even more frustrating, the allergen labeling is incomplete or missing on the product pages and even some packaging. The new mix contains soy protein isolate, butter powder, whey powder, and nonfat dry milk โ yet on multiple listings, thereโs no proper โContains: Milk, Soyโ allergen disclosure. For people with allergies or dietary restrictions, thatโs more than disappointing โ itโs potentially dangerous. And letโs talk marketing. The brand advertises this product topped with fresh kiwi, mango, pomegranate seeds, and syrup โ all things not included in the product. That pretty photo might be good for Instagram, but itโs incredibly misleading. If someone recreates that bowl, theyโre getting 15โ25g of sugar from fruit and syrup โ yet the product still boasts โ0g added sugar.โ Itโs just not honest. It feels like the brand is moving away from the vision of its founder, Krishna Kaliannan, who created Catalina Crunch to help people like himself โ with type 1 diabetes โ find satisfying low-carb options. Now, under new leadership (Catalina Crunch hired a new CEO in late 2022), it seems the focus has shifted toward growth and margin over mission and integrity. Iโm not against companies evolving. But when you build a loyal customer base around trust, transparency, and health-focused values, you owe it to those customers to communicate major changes clearly โ not hide them behind flashy packaging and quiet reformulations. Sadly, I can no longer recommend this product. If youโre keto, diabetic, carb-conscious, or allergic to soy or dairy โ please read the fine print very carefully. Catalina Crunch is not the same brand it used to be.

Great taste
The flavor of this snack is fantastic and I would compare it to Gardetto's. It seemed a little overpriced for the size of the bag, but overall it was a nice flavor change.

Yummy but way to expensive!

There is nothing wrong with this product. Itโs a good mix ready made, great for tossing in your bag on a road trip or a hike. Itโs just not that Keto as far as carbs go. If you really do KETO you could mix your own little bag for the road and it would be likely be less net carbs.

I love the cheddar ones and the spicy ones, these just weren't for me, they had a very different taste and left a terrible after taste and texture in my mouth. I'll stick to the flavored ones :)

Do you like pretzels? Well try anything but this. Not one single pretzel in there.

This snack mix is awesome for lunches or just journal snacking. If you are on a keto or low sugar diet and do not want to be stuffing crap in your mouth. A little goes a long way as I find I only need a small portion to satisfy any craving for snacking.
