I love these carpet grips! I applied them to my kitchen carpet and it hasn’t budged. One hitch is that it’s a washable rug and you cannot remove them from the rug itself. I’m going to try to wash it with the grips in place and see what happens…

I was about to nail the rug in my boys’ room down with a hammer as it would creep a few millimeters every time you walked across it and end up bunched up against the leg of the bunk bed in a matter of days anytime I repositioned it. We have your standard medium pile synthetic carpet like most new build bedrooms these days. I just bought these to keep the corners of their decorative area rug from curling and tripping people—the stickiness was incidental. But the sticky pads actually work! Even on carpet. The rug stays put! I wish I would have done it way sooner.

Works great even on rugs that are already curling up on the ends. Just be sure to clean the bottom of the rug and let it dry before applying. I didn’t stick mine to the floor. The weight alone holds it down.

Worked for about two weeks and then it started moving. I could not restick it, the residue washed off and it won't stick anymore.
