Compression screw terminals eliminated soldering of the component leads
Functional, successfully employed to convey Macintosh computer speaker output audio to an audio combiner box where I could combine the Discord audio (for video chatting with fellow gamers game) with the game audio that is from an IBM style computer speaker output. This cable also provided the microphone audio (sleeve) that I could return from the headset to the Discord audio application.

Large for the purpose
Quality is fine. Screw terminal block is not a good attachment. Too large once it is assembled. Wires are small and spreading them to fit block is very difficult. Wires pull out too easily even when terminal block screws are very tight. Only worked temporarily. I fixed 3 times then just bought complete cable replacement

Handy breakout cable
Excellent for testing things that have 4 pin 3.5mm jacks. I bought these to breakout the OTM link on an Otamatone to play other sound sources through the mouth. I also use them for other devices that have microphones on the 4th pin, or others that send video. They can be nice for quick prototyping by screwing some breadboard wires in, and connecting the other end to an Arduino Uno or breadboard.

Just what I needed
Needed a 3.5mm mono plug to connect to my speaker wires and this fit the bill perfectly. Easy to install and no soldering required!

Great for experimenting
I have a pair of EJEAS motorcycle intercoms that I wanted to use with a standard headset in my sports car. The intercoms speaker and mic plug in using a standard 3.5 jack, however, the intercoms also charge with a 3.5 jack also so I knew they werenโt wired the same. Figuring out what they used for power and ground wasnโt hard, just used my multimeter on the charger. I had cut a headset cable in the past but the wires were just too flimsy and fragile to work with. I bought this and a female pigtail so I could plug into both ends without harming anything and experiment with the wiring at junction block. Once all was figured out, I soldered and shrunk wrapped two pigtails together for the final adapter. A bit of work and a bit of money but I ended up with what I wanted.

They work exactly as intended, used for a DIY home subwoofer project

Well made and as described. Screwdriver provided in the package for the terminal block was without a tip (flat or philips). Was just a thin cylindrical metal rod with a hard plastic handle.

Broken cable going to my speakers. I could have just used a new plug I already have (from the days that I thought it was neat to fix things elegantly) and soldered the existing wire to it. But I just can't be bothered with a finicky small soldering job like that, and this is a great workaround. Yes, it is not elegant, and it's bulky, but it's something that sits in the background and done in a minute. I have other similar connectors, always good to have. One thing to note, stripped wires are nowadays often of very high gauge (low thickness) so with a pressure connector like this one, you may have to fold it over itself to get it as thick as needed to hold it.
