Chronic ear drainage and yappy dogs, no problem!
These are great! I really didn't think I would be able to wear these because my ears are constantly swelling and draining from infections and allergies. Every other earplugs I've used has been painful to keep in my ear for long and ends up yucky from drainage. To my amazement, these little guys do not cause pain or irritate my ears. I've worn them almost all the time for about a week to make sure before reviewing. I even wore them overnight and no ear pain! They are easy to clean too. I have found that I can push them in all the way for more silence, or leave them just partially in and the ring part still holds them in place, which makes it more adaptable to how much I want to quiet my environment. I like having the pro version because of the little piece that can be attached in the ring to quiet noise even more, and the ability to switch back and forth from the regular earpiece to the foam earpiece that quiets everything in a different way. I live in a house with 6 pomeranians and someone hard of hearing that blasts the TV. The sudden sharp noises have really been driving up my anxiety and noise sensitivity. These earplugs are great because I can sit a room away from the noise and watch quiet anime and still hear what's going on in my show! I keep the earplugs in any time I walk through the house and the pomeranians no longer sound like squealing balls of grating metal, instead they just sound like little fuzzy doggies! Yay! When I wear them outside, I can't hear the sound of the wind, but I can hear the birds. When they are in I also hear a bit of inner head noise that sounds a bit like being underwater which is very soothing to me, but if I pull them partially out and let the ring hold them in that position there is no more inner head noise and the pomeranians are still at an acceptable noise level. I like the cute little case too!

Best audio quality of 4 I have tried
Disclaimer: I have SUPER sensitive ears, both when it comes to loud noise and having anything in them. If I'm in an environment that is too loud, my ears buzz like a blown out speaker and physically hurt - so I couldn't go to any concerts or big sporting events. Even dance clubs and bars were risky. I also cannot stand earbuds, they are physically painful to me immediately upon putting them in my ears. I can only use on ear headphones even for hands free (yes I look ridiculous). So when I talk about comfort, I'm speaking from that perspective. I'm evaluating these earplugs based on using them at concerts/music festivals, where I still want to be able to hear. Loop Experience Pro Earplugs $40 I use these with the extra mute rubber on the loop. These provide the best sound. It sounds like someone just turned down the volume rather than muffling it, but still muted enough for my super sensitive ears. Tip: if you don't mind looking a little bit dorky, try pointing the circle (loop) forward/in the direction you are looking, rather than tucked in your ear pointing towards your back side. I found the audio quality to be slightly better this way. I/My ears cannot tolerate earbud headphones, so the fact I can tolerate these at all is a testament to how comfortable they are. But with my sensitive ears I've found I can't quite wear these for a full concert - so I save these for the bands/songs I care about hearing the most clearly. I use the SureFire for everything else. But if you ears are ok with any type of Earbuds headphones, I'd recommend just these alone. SureFire EP4 Sonic Defenders $15 Best comfort, but some of the higher tones get lost. Has a cap for the earplugs tube you can have open or shut to allow more or less sound. I tend to use these (with the cap closed) for most concerts until the band I came for starts playing, then I switch to the Loop for the better audio quality. If for some reason I was forced to choose to only use one set of earplugs, I would choose these. But also my ears are SUPER sensitive about anything being in them even in the slightest, it causes me physical pain. If you can tolerate any type of earbud headphones, I'd recommend the Loop Experience Pro Earplugs. Eargasm High Fidelity Earplugs $50 Didn't work for me, I couldn't get them in a proper position to seal and Stay sealed. They kept loosening and popping out (not enough to lose them but enough to lose all of the noise reducing effect). I don't use these at all. EARasers Noise Cancelling Earplugs $45 Most low profile, worked ok but not great, less comfortable than SureFire or Loop. I don't use these at all. Loop are cheaper and better.

My opinion
I got these to help me concentrate in school during my very loud math class. They do there job very well, and I can still hear what the teacher is saying while also dampening the sound from my classmates. Although, I do have some negatives about this product. 1. Coming from someone with sensitive ears they are comfortable enough to keep on for about an hour or so, but definitely wouldn’t recommend having them on for over that time, without breaks at least. (that could just be me though.) If you don’t put them in perfectly they will start to hurt pretty quickly and you will be forced to take them off or play with them until they are in correctly. 2. Taking the ear pieces out weren’t difficult, but putting a different pair on is a whole different story lol. I was working on putting them on for about 15 minutes and was constantly afraid of breaking the ear piece off, if I pressed down to hard. 3. This doesn’t bother me as much as some people, but you can hear yourself swallowing pretty loudly. I thought these would also be nice to wear during lunch but now instead of hearing people talking and yelling throughout the cafeteria, I now have an entire percussion band in my mouth every time I bite, chew, or swallow. So using these now during lunch or any meal is out of question. Those are my concerns, I used my pair about 5 or six times already, and still would not regret it if I bought another pair. For the girls out there who don’t have huge ears I’d recommend by starting with the extra small option to save you some time. (Definitely would have helped me lol)

So helpful
Ok so I’ve had these for a few weeks now. I finally bought them after seeing ads for them for several months and finally getting curious enough to read more about them. I decided to get the pro version because I liked the versatility they offered. I was hesitant about the price, but they have really been worth it! I read another review that said that they don’t really come with instructions on how to use it, but the review had helpful information and I want to elaborate. The headphones come with different sizes of inserts for the part you put in your ear for comfort. But the additional piece is a soft silicone ring that can be removed on the hard outer piece that sticks outside the ear. Adding this piece seems to add more noise blocking ability. These are not completely noise canceling, but they do a great job. Diminishing a lot of sounds around you for whatever purpose you need. I bought them because I’ve been experiencing anxiety and have been overstimulated. I wore them with the inserts to a parade and party, and was pleased that most of the loud noises from the parade were diminished, but I could still hear someone if they were directly speaking to me. I’ve worn them to restaurants where I’m there with a large group. Without the inserts, it did a great job diminishing the bar music and background conversations but again, I could have a conversation with someone who is speaking directly next to me or in front of me without having to take them out. I’ve also enjoyed wearing them at home. I could sit in the living room without the inserts and read a book while my kids were on their devices and my husband had the TV on so that we would all be together but I wouldn’t have distractions and constant interruptions disrupting my reading. But I could hear my kids if they needed some thing or we’re in front of me asking a question. I even used them today with the inserts during a fire drill and they were immensely helpful. I also really love the size of the case. It’s so small that the case is easy enough to pack with me wherever I go. I tend to keep the case in my purse now, so I always have them with me. I got black in case my husband ever wanted to borrow them but I’m definitely not sharing these!

Amazing concert earplugs
I wore these for the first time at the Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert and they completely cancelled out the crowd so I only heard Taylor's voice. I was on the floor and I couldn't even hear the person next to me singing. I did use the extra loop mute pieces as the concert was very loud. I also liked that there are different size ear pieces as I have small ears and most earplugs start to hurt my ears after an hour of wearing them, but these didn't hurt at all and the concert was 5 hours long. I also did not have any ringing in my ears the next day thanks to these. I'd say the only downside is it does such a good job of cancelling people's voices that you either had to scream in my ear or I had to take one earplug out to hear my friend talking to me. Which is great during the concert but if you wear these to a music festival where you'll need to be coordinating with your group throughout the day you may want to get a string to attach to them so when you take them out you don't accidentally lose them. I did not test how the sound was if I didn't use the muted pieces and maybe it would allow you to at least hear a bit of what the person next to you is saying which if a concert isn't too loud you probably could skip the extra muted part but I can't attest to that. The case was nice, small, and sturdy and I suggest keeping the extra muted pieces in the case and then figuring out if you need the extra muting when you get to the concert. I have never used any other concert earplugs so I cannot say how they compare to other brands but I was very happy I bought these and will definitely be wearing these to all the concerts I attend in the future.

Perfect for Motorcycles
I was looking for something to tone down the exhaust and wind noise from my motorcycle which was becoming unbearable as of late. I found myself riding less because of it and decided I had to get some quality earplugs. Took a chance on these although I had low expectations due to the price and the gimmick “ring” function. I was so wrong. These are so worth the price! I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to hear my music through my Cardo system and crazy as it sounds I can actually hear it better! I do have to turn it up a bit louder than normal but I definitely hear it better and no more buzzing/ringing in my head after a ride! They are super comfortable and easy to put in. They stay in place well while putting on a full face helmet and don’t fall out while taking it off. The “mute ring” works as well and definitely makes them even more quiet if you like. The only bad thing about these is the case. The case absolutely sucks and will not survive if your using these for riding. Luckily, I got another pair of earplugs that were cheap and happened to come with a case that was much nicer. With the case being the only bad part about these, 5 stars all the way I’m so happy I got them. Save your ears and get some.

Know your needs
So I’ve been trying a bunch of both Loop, and Eargasm ear protection. I have all variants of both brands. So here’s the positive points to take away from my 2 years of testing, I am a professional musician, and won’t name drop who I am. So the Loop ear protection is flawless and they fit great, and they are consistent no matter what variety of Loop varieties. That’s a huge plus for someone who’s on stage 300 times a year, and non stop studio work, and writing sessions. They do help somewhat for my needs. Another positive is I can still hear perfectly while reducing the decibel rate while still being to adjust my EQ balance. They are also very comfortable for long time wear. That’s where the pro’s end. Now Eargasm honestly and I spoke to them directly via my stage crew. They are not comfortable at all, they are all different and fit differently based on the variant. They sound like I’m under water. They do reduce more noise, but at the cost of a poor performance. The Loops do not do that, however other brands do a better job to reduce decibels. The Loops fall in the middle of all brands. If you’re a concert goer the Loop is the way to go, if like me and your on a stage 300 days a year, nah these aren’t even close to doing the job. Keep in mind if I’m not wearing IEM’s (in ear monitors), I’ll probably reach for what my tech gives me, and I hate to say it’s never this brand as it just doesn’t cut the noise and my ears are killing me. So occasional use absolutely, if you’re a musician then never.., but for their purpose they are great and stay in place all night no problem. I gave a probably lower rating based on my needs. All other brands good luck, they may work better, but aren’t even close to the comfort level of the Loop brand, and you’ll spend $100’s just to figure out what fits literally like stay in your ears, the loops are flawless in that regard. Buy them, most people will love them, I do though not for being in front of a wall of cabinets.

They filter unwanted sounds
These earbuds are perfect at filtering unwanted background noise. For the naysayers: these earbuds are not meant for sleeping. What they do is, reduce/filter sounds that are often overwhelming and distracting. I am able to have a nice conversation with someone sitting close to me without hearing the many different background noises.

Discreet, stylish, and excellent noise balance
I bought the Loop Experience Plus earplugs after hearing a lot of buzz about them in the live music and neurodiverse communities, and I have to say — they’ve lived up to the hype. These are not your average foam plugs — they’re thoughtfully designed, reusable, and deliver impressive sound reduction without muting the world entirely. The Experience Plus model is tailored for reducing noise levels in a balanced way, ideal for concerts, noisy work environments, travel, or even day-to-day use for those with sensory sensitivity. They come in a smart little carry case and include multiple sizes of ear tips (both foam and silicone), so you can get the perfect fit. The fit, for me, was excellent. I used the medium silicone tips and found them snug, comfortable, and secure. They don’t press in uncomfortably like foam can, and they’re light enough to wear for hours without discomfort. The circular "Loop" design sits against the ear discreetly — more like a piece of jewellery than a medical aid — which makes them perfect for wearing out and about. In terms of performance, they strike a fantastic balance. They lower volume significantly, making loud environments bearable, but still let through clear, undistorted sound. At a gig, I could still enjoy the music — the bass was present, the vocals clear, and there was no muffled sensation like you get with foam plugs. They essentially "turn the volume down" without ruining the experience. I’ve also used them in the office when working, on the train, and even while vacuuming — and in every case, they’ve helped reduce stress and distraction without cutting me off from the world. You can still hear speech, alarms, and background noise, just at a much more manageable level. The Plus version includes a little insert that lets you tweak the attenuation level slightly — handy if you need a bit more reduction for certain environments. They’re easy to clean too — just a rinse under warm water and they’re good as new. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that they’re a bit more expensive than standard earplugs, but the performance, comfort, and reusability justify the cost easily. In short, the Loop Experience Plus earplugs are stylish, effective, and thoughtfully engineered. Whether you're dealing with noise sensitivity, going to concerts, or just want to protect your hearing in style, these are a brilliant solution. Highly recommended!

Comfortable, easy to wear, effective
Review for Loop Experience Plus Earplugs. I have been using a different pair of earplugs for a while now - Etymotic ETY Plugs ER20 High Fidelity Earplugs. Just recently decided to try out these Loop Experience Plus Earplugs after getting them during the EOFY sales. Appearance wise, Loop looks better and doesn't protrude from the ear which was one of the things I disliked about my Etymotic ones. Wearing Loop just requires a twist to align it correctly into the ear, it's very snug and I wore them for ~6 hours without it coming loose or needing much adjustment. In terms of fit and comfort Loop were better, with extra eartips of various sizes that made it easy to find a good fit. By comparison my Etymotic earplugs were one size fits all and not quite as comfortable as they went deeper into the ear and would also slip out more easily. For noise cancellation, I experienced more noise reduction with the Etymotic earplugs when fully inserted compared to the Loop earplugs with the mute piece in. That said, the overall balance of the noise reduction sounded better with the Loop earplugs, like I could still hear everything fairly clearly, just with a reduced volume. The Etymotic earplugs on the other hand felt like they dampened a lot more of the sound across all ranges, to the extent that things ended up sounding a bit muffled - though that may actually be preferable in some circumstances. Overall, I think the Loop earplugs are a good product especially if you can get them on sale. If you're budget conscious or worried about loud noise (or plan to dance all day in front of a festival loudspeaker), though, then I think there are still good alternatives out there.

Work brilliantly as described
These Loop experience pro plugs were bought for personal use for when I work from home or in the office. They block out background noise, such as traffic, and reduce overall volume, like people speaking, allowing me better concentration. The bonus is that you can still hear conversation such as in the office, I can hear if someone is speaking to me directly, albeit more quietly. I also have a noisy family so often the radio, TV, games console can be on and it just sounds like a din to me - these Loop plugs make it 18 -25 decibels more bearable! You can choose whether you want to reduce the noise by 18 or 25 decibels by fitting an additional silicone ring - it's hard to explain in text but very easy to do, taking approximately 10 seconds....the main point is that you can choose and adjust. I have small ear canals and with usual bud type earphones wear the smallest - Loop are true to size and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. I did try sleeping in them as it's hot and we live on a busy main road, they did work in terms of noise reduction but I'm a side sleeper so this wasn't comfortable halfway through the night (having said that, Loop experience pro aren't advertised for sleeping and have a different product which are). I can see that these would be really useful for travelling on public transport E.G. noisy trains if you wanted to work/read and didn't want to listen to music. I'm really glad I bought these, they work well for me and come with a protective case for storage. Good value for money.
