MOTHER NURTURE Premium Crib Mattress 84 x 50 x 5cm

Bought this after wonderful reviews. Sorry to say that I agree with a previous review that said the mattress had a strong smell and I needed to air it for nearly a week before I felt I could put my baby on it, I tried airing it for a few days then placing two sheets over the top but the smell was still strong and the sheets needed to be washed as it had transfered.I suppose if you're buying this before baby arrivesPositives - the mattress itself is a lot more comfortable than the original mattress that the side by side came with but don't expect it to reach the level of an adults mattress. This is ultimately a piece of foam with a nice quilted covering.We co-sleep but baby starts off on this mattress but I must admit she stays on there a lot longer than she did the original mattress!I would recommend buying this however I do feel it's slightly overpriced for what it is.

We are very pleased woth our purchase. After i placed the order i saw somr reviews mentioning unpleasant smell, but this is not the case woth our mattress. It came flat, in a thick plastic packaging, together with a leaflet with care instructions. It feels soft and the quality of the material feels expensive. I cannot wait to put my little one in his crib.

Excellent quality mattress, seems comfy and the quilted cover is especially great however it absolutely reeks of a chemical smell! I've got it airing out in a room currently as I can't use it like it is for my baby and the smell is over powering in the room it's currently in. Hoping the smell goes away soon or I will have to return this.

Great quality mattress, unlike other reviews ours came well packaged and without any kind of odour although we did allow it to air as we’ve purchased well in advance of latest arrival. Fits our crib perfectly. We purchased as we got our crib secondhand and it’s upgraded the crib nicely. The mattress comes with a zip on cover which we have placed an additional waterproof cover and fitted sheet over but is good to know if there were any major accidents we could remove to wash as well.

Perfect for the John Lewis Anna swing crib.Bought this to replace the original mattress for our new arrival. It fits perfectly and is thicker and seems better quality than the one we had previously from JL.Overall very pleased with the mattress.
