This is super easy to install. Just have to pull out the plastic drawer and large bin, both come out easily. Two screws in the front, remove the connector on the top, reverse and you’re done in no time! After months of occasionally having ice I finally pulled the trigger and bought this item. I should have done it months ago. It makes more cubes than my original did, and seems to make them more frequently. If your having problems with ice production do yourself a favor and just get this!

As you've heard Samsung fridges are no good but somehow we still get conned into buying them. I was no different. My top ice machine broke about 3 months ago and now the bottom ice machine stopped working. Then Samsung makes it difficult to even find a part number. So hopefully I can help you. This ice make part works is for fridge RF27T5241SR/AA. It will fail and samsung will not help. I had to do a lot of research before I could find the part number. DA61-03213B = DA97-07603B is the most updated part number. This part worked and i now have ice. Click the reset button once you install.

The ice maker went in easily and was a good match. For the first month or so the ice was perfect.After the first month or so the ice maker started to overfill intermittently and by the second month was consistently putting out bars of ice instead of cubes.The bars require an ice pick to separate into cubes because the overfill is so thick.The blocks also will block the freezer from opening as well as slipping behind the tray onto the freezer bottom which causes the freezer to not quite seal leading to defrosting of freezer contents.But it does make ice and it is as fast as the original.Update 3/4/23 unit dead and won't produce anything.9 month lifespan and the last 6 months it produces bars instead of cubes is a major fail.Stay away from this POS.

Better price. been couple months and still working.Now one out of the two ice makers on the Samsung is actually working (thanks Samsung) lol.

Perfect ice cubes including quantity but only lasted for 1 full year. Sep 2023 to Sep 2024.

Works well in Samsung. Note that some UTube videos will say that you have to take off the front outside part of the freezer... You don't. Just remove the inside panel. Check out other UTube videos. Not too difficult to change.
