MinChen 18650 Plastic Sleeves Tube Aadaptor for 18650 LED Flashlight(Pack of 8)

These tubes are exactly as advertised. They allow me to use an 18650 battery in a flashlight that can also accept three AAA batteries, without the 18650 rattling around. They're sturdy. So five stars on doing what they're designed to do.Having said that, you have to admire the free-enterprise gutsiness of the vendor. These are small plastic tubes made in China. What could they possibly cost to manufacture? A penny? I doubt that much. But they sell for a dollar apiece. Wow.I'm sure I could have gotten them somewhere else cheaper, but in the end it just wasn't worth the time to go hunting elsewhere to save a couple of dollars. These work dandy, and I got them on Amazon in two days with one click. Done.

Bought these for my flashlights when using the 18650 batteries. I'm famous for misplacing, losing, forgetting where I put these darned plastic sleeves for the batteries. As someone noted, they seem a little pricey for what are basically plastic tubes but when you need them, you need them. The good thing about buying this package is now I have plenty of them to misplace. Mine did come with the ridges inside to aid in air flow in keeping the battery from overheating. I shouldn't have had to purchase them since my flashlights came with ones that I misplaced, but I'm happy they were available and that I bought them.

Worked for me

I recently purchased some two packs of the Anker LC40 AAA/18650 and did not realize the lights did not include an 18650 sleeve. These 'work', the sleeve fits well in the light's barrel. My Panasonic flat top batteries are a little loose, the Victagen button top batteries I have fit a bit better. Either case, I no longer worry about dropping my light and having the battery slip off of the contacts.

These sleves are good for taking up the spaces around the 18650 battery, but, I was expecting a tube with ridges on the inside for help with coolong, as 1 reviewer stated! The ones I got do not have the ridges ls in them, but they are not to tight on the battery either. They should still do what is needed, to keep the battery from rattling while in use.

I was getting frustrated when I would grab an LED flashlight requiring 3 AAA batteries only to find they lost brightness quickly. Using a 18650 battery is much a much better option but they are narrower than the AAA battery insert so these MinChen sleeves keep the 18650 batteries firmly centered in my flashlights which now are brighter & last longer between charges.

Item is exactly what I expected. The sleeve is the same as one supplied with my 3-pack of flashlights.

I wouldn't be able to use Li-ion cells in regular flashlight without the sleeves.
