I like that you are able to switch from one setting to the next with a half click of the button. And the zoomable feature is very handy, this light works really well

Good quality and heavy as it should be. It has developed a weird ring around the lens, that is actually inside the plastic lens itself. It’s now visible in the beam when using the light. Not a big deal, but it’s no longer a solid circle beam. Worth the great price point and most especially since you can recharge it. I recommend this for any usage.

I am extremely happy with this flashlight's ability to switch between 365nm and 395nm. I don't have to worry about forgetting one flashlight as home with this product. I go uranium glass hunting a lot, though collect pottery glazed with uranium as well that can usually only be seen under 365nm light. If you're looking for a flashlight to take with you thrifting, this will be the one. The battery life is fantastic, and it comes with two ways to charge: a rechargeable battery or an adapter for what I believe are AAA batteries, or AA? I haven't used anything except for the rechargeable one yet!

The switch partial depression to change frequency is too sensitive.

***05/22/23***UPDATEThe seller contacted me and advised that their battery supplier had a problem with a bad lot of batteries. Seller is sending a replacement. I will update here when I receive it. ORIGINAL POST. The battery was dead on arrival. This is critical with Lithium batteries because most contain a safety circuit which disables the battery to keep it from damage if charging is attempted when completely dead. Once this safety kicks in, the battery is trash. HINT: Keep Li-on batteries charged and NEVER let them completely run down due to use or long-term storage. (I tried a second known good charger and no results. ) Amazon will not replace just the battery, entire light must be returned. Amazon says customer service must be contacted first before returning the light and battery, though there is no guidance how to contact Customer Service. Then I receive an email just to return the light and battery. This is all very confusing. ABOUT THE LIGHT…. Light is sturdily made and has one of the brightest UV beams of any light I’ve had (I used a spare battery from a different light to test.) Will post more when I receive the replacement. The light is a great value IF you receive one with a working battery.

It's a blacklight so don't look directly into it. That said, it worked great when setting a dental repair treatment that required a blacklight to harden it. It worked beautifully. This will be fun to use to track down pet stains and in the dark just to play around.
