I would have given it 5 stars if it had a cap that went onto the hole where the grater is. If it had a cap you could place it on the table or in the fridge without having the shredded cheese falling all over the counter or table while you are not using it. Sometimes I like to grate my cheese eat some and add more grated cheese lol but when you put the grater down it does make excess cheese spill onto the counter. Other than that I really like this grater, it's easy to turn and the color is cute. I'm please with my purchase.

The seller was wonderful. Very caring and eager to please. The grater is lightweight, efficient and easy to use and care for. Very easy to wash and also I believe dishwasher approved. I personally like to clean it by hand each use. Gave 4 stars but only because it shreds instead of grates finely, which I prefer. But either works just personal preference.

Works perfectly. Had one of the other grinders,but basically they only work on harder cheeses. I was looking for one that would shred softer cheeses like cheddar and swiss. This one does! It works so well, I just reordered one for my daughter!

Well it was not what I expected it looked a bit too "plastic y," however I did review/research the item and saw the video that showed the cheese grater in action. I tried it and just like the video ad it worked, didn't even notice the whole piece of cheese was grated. It is a bit of a work-out and not sure how long it will last, since I still feel it is a kind ah flimsy with the most delicate part being the turning handle. I will chime back in after a few months of using to give up date. OK a few months later using grater with little wear and tear and...very disappointed the grater broke!! the part that inserts into the metal cylinder (plastic) did not hold up?! so money wasted went and bought and old fashioned flat cheese grater instead... FYI- I did put in Dishwasher for cleaning a few times and mostly kept in refrigerator when not in use.

This is a truly great product! It's lightweight yet sturdy. I no longer purchase grated cheese and only grate my ownfrom Italian parmesan cheese. I will get many years of use from this grater.
