Slightly better than not having it
The attached picture is still in unfortunately common site (at least where I live where it’s frequently quite cold). Accompanied by the message “it is too cold to charge via solar”. So all round it’s so far roughly doubled the time between getting up a ladder and bringing it down to charge, from around a week to maybe 2.

Does the job, just not in winter
Perfect fit-and-forget accessory though it does not work in winter. The other three seasons are all OK but you will have to charge the battery in the more conventional way during winter.

Only works well in full sun, not cloudy
Bought this to charge my Arlo camera as recommended by Arlo which is good in full sun but after a few cloudy days it doesn’t provide enough charge to keep it fully charged

Ottimo
Per caricare le videocamere Arlo è davvero comodo. Basta fissarlo a parete, collegare il cavo alla videocamera ed entrerà subito in carica. Bisogna regolare l’inclinazione, nel mio caso è di circa 60º in inverno, e 30º in estate.Potrebbe essere integrato meglio via software con la videocamera, la quale mi segna sempre di avere una carica al 100% quando ha il caricatore attaccato. Se lo stacco delle volte segna una percentuale di carica inferiore e il pannello di giorno la carica. A distanza di mesi non si è mai scarica c’è da dire.
