Good ventilation, needs a couple more features
My first bivy sackCamped at high elevationDry climate, cold weather, slept with the ventilation panel open all night. woke up with no condensation on the inside which was great.Comfortable; I was able to turn and flip inside the bivy. I’m 5’8” 175 lbsI would be concerned if it had rained.I wish the bivy had a way to ventilate while retaining water resistance. I guess I’d need a rain fly for that.I’d like to see better fabric support at the base to prevent wear and tear associated with hopping around the campground in the bivy sack.

Great Ultralight Bivy by Sierra Designs. I recommend it.
Glad to have this bivy. The brand caught my eye first and it gets good reviews on all the top ten lists I've seen including YouTube videos. It's very thin tent like material. Not designed so much for warmth but I'm using it in conjunction with my 800 fill power down mummy bag so no worries there. My only complaint is the zipper quality could be better but if used cautiously they should hold up just like a tent.Pros are that it's very spacious and ultralight. I got the long version as I'm 6'3 and 205 lbs. It fits my 88" mummy bag, an inflatable pillow, and my ultralight sleeping pad fits too. I've added links below to the bag, pillow, and pad I'm using. It stuffs down to about the size of a 1 liter water bottle.Hyke & Byke Eolus 0 Degree F 800 Fill Power Hydrophobic Goose Down Sleeping Bag with ClusterLoft Base - Ultra Lightweight 4 Season Men’s and Women’s Mummy Bag Designed for Backpacking https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XS52W8W/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_ky4yFbMRDBJXYTREKOLOGY Ultralight Inflating Travel/Camping Pillows - Aluft 1.0 Compressible, Compact, Inflatable, Comfortable, Ergonomic Pillow for Neck & Lumbar Support While Camp, Hike, Backpacking https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073XGRR42/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_wz4yFbSGQ7DJ0ECOTEK Outdoors Insulated Hybern8 4 Season Ultralight Inflatable Sleeping Pad with Contoured FlexCell Design - Easy, Comfortable, Light, Durable, Hammock Approved - Sub Zero Temp Rating https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GZJDZWC/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_XB4yFbMWA74DVThis Sierra Designs Bivy is a great product and I'd very much recommend it. Nice
This bivy looks awesome! I was really happy with how small and light it packed down. It looks a little questionable with how water proof it is but I guess I’ll find out soon enough. I plan to use a small tarp with it anyways. If your a big guy id definitely get the large that this model comes in.

Good performance in mild weather
Super light and packable. I just used this on a mild weather bikepacking trip and was very pleased with it. I did have a little more condensation on the inside (especially in the foot area of the bag) than I was hoping for, but not enough to be problematic. The bottom is not as robust as what I have used in the past, but it did not have any punctures to my sleeping pad.

My favorite 4 season bivy
This is my “Marginal weather on the horizon bivy”. Very roomy and as long as you understand the constraints of a bivy you’ll be very happy with it.

Amazingly light and compact!
It is light! My whole tent/sleep system now weighs about the same as my old hiking sleeping bag and takes up less space!

Not waterproof
It doesn't appear to be waterproof. First night, light rain..woke up with sleeping bag wet, eventually right through..inside of bivvy also wet. Very disappointed.
