Hi ok so i got this to pack my lunch for school everyday (i’m a high schooler) i make my lunch at 6:30 every morning and eat it at 11:30 and by the time to eat lunch it’s luke warm kind of on the cold side but i got used to it… ALSO I have to tape the top shut with packaging tape or else it will open and spill everywhere

This bento box I bought at the same time as some others so I could compare, I bought the plastic versions as well as these metal ones. I thought I would like these better but they do no keep the heat as well, maybe you are suppose to put some kind of hot water in first and then add your food? I'm not sure as the food was cold by the time I went to eat it at lunch time. You cannot microwave these according to the bottoms and you cannot wash them in the dishwasher, we went ahead and tried to wash them in the dishwasher and it seems like there is now water in the space between the metal and plastic so I do suggest to stick to hand washing. Overall I think these would be great for transporting snacks/fruits/vegetables for a hiking trip but I don't trust it to keep my food warm.

It leaked and did not keep food warm for even 3 hours. I put steaming hot food in the container in the morning and by lunch it was completely cold. It was also stale because the container is not air tight. The utensils had metal after taste for every bite. One of the clamps broke during the first week of use.

This is exactly what I wanted to reduce take home containers. I love that each container has it's own lid and they come apart so I can easily fit them into the frig

Has lots of room for soup and other things but I put soup in and it was a few hours and was luke warmWhen we stopped to eat.

I bought this for myself because I thought I could force myself to make healthy lunches if I bought a cute little lunch set. It worked. It has the perfect amount of compartments and it makes me feel like I’m actually feeding myself lol. I will say, the two smaller compartments both have a curve to the bottom so you can’t fit as much as you would think but I always just shift things around and it all works out. Holds hot things really well and is definitely leak proof. It is super easy to clean and overall just super easy to handle.

When I buy a metal insulated container I would expect my food stay at least warm 4 hours later....nope. If you want food hot/warm buy a thermos. These are cute and a great idea for cold salads, snacks, but don't keep food warm/hot. Now it is in a metal container and can't be microwaved either...sad, they were so cute and easy to use. One other note... the clips seem easy to break, maybe that is why they give you extra.
