takes practice to get uniformed burgers. I vacuum bag mineafter making them as I do quite a few ahead for the freezer.

Very happy with the press. Adjusting the thickness of the patty is very nice to have. All burgers are the same thickness and get done at the same time.I was able to press out 10lbs of beef in about 20 mins, making 30 patties. Note: Using parchment paper between meat and press prevents the meat sticking in the press.

We purchased this press because of an upcoming party. We made 50 patties in a short amount of time. The press is easy to use, is adjustable for different thickness of burgers and comes apart for cleaning. I did take the advice of another reviewer and purchase the wax paper squares and they are a great companion product. Just place a piece in the bottom of the press and another on top of your meat and there is no mess. I would recommend it.

It makes hamburger patties, I haven't noticed any flaking of the nonstick coating but I am using saran wrap on each half of the press. Also the thickness gauge marks are there on the adjustment bolt so I am unsure of other peoples complaints. Just what I was looking for.
