Excellent gaming and dining table. I had no idea how few and far between decent quality, regular height, large square tables were until I started looking a few months ago. Almost all square tables are counter height it seems, and I wanted a versatile gaming/dining table that was regular height. I FINALLY found this one and I'm so glad I did, it's perfect. It's a rich dark cherry color and looks great. Comfortably fits 8 large chairs, I used 4 chairs and two 52" long benches.It took a bit of time to put together, approx. 2 hours, and against the advice of the directions, I used a drill. I would recommend using a drill at first when attaching the 3 table top pieces and brackets (good luck getting them together otherwise, there were no pre-drilled holes for the locking fasteners), but once you have the pieces together and turn it on its top to secure the frame, I would switch to a screwdriver and manually do it. Using a drill at this stage can lead to screws popping through the wood. (It happened to me when I tried to use the drill to attach the side frame pieces, it's not terribly noticeable but avoidable if you simply don't use a drill for this.)Great price for a quality piece. Would definitely buy again.

Love this table! I was a bit worried about the size & quality, but this table exceeded my expectations on both! The color is just as pictured & goes nice with the chairs & benches I already have. It is very heavy & appears that it should hold up to day to day use. It does take some time to put together. Though it says not to use a power drill, we did use one on a few areas without problem. It worked great to start with a power drill & finish up by hand. Otherwise you would be putting this together for hours on end. It took us about 1 1/2 hours.My only complaint (the reason for 4 stars) is 2 of the corners of the table top did arrive damaged. They are dented badly without color of table finish. I will probably just use a marker to touch up & it shouldn't be to obvious. Just a little disappointing. Overall I would buy this table again!

Came with all of the right parts, on time, and the assembly was not as bad as I thought it would be, though sinking 30 screws by hand was a real pain. I did the rest with a weak, battery powered hand drill by myself. If you're clever, you can assemble it on your own, but I would not recommend moving it on your own. For the most part the table wasn't damaged in shipping, except the front of one end of one top panel was dented/chipped slightly. That's the only complaint. That edge should be better protected in the packaging. Still, we LOVE this table as it looks elegant and gives our family of 8 the room we were hoping for in a small 10' x 10' dining area.

It’s a two person job putting this solid wood baby together! She’s sturdy enough to dance on though! Def getting moneys worth in sturdiness. Scratches super easy though and doesn’t wipe clean easily. Highly suggest a table cloth or for me I put several layers of clear lacquer to protect it. I’m using it in my art studio and it sits six with easels very comfortably. I added four chairs on two sides and two benches on the other two sides. Love my table for paint nights in my art studio at home!!!

Nice big table with plenty of room for our family of 7 and a guest spot. If I had to put the 3 smallest on a bench in a pinch for guests I could. The color is great. It is sturdy and heavy. Assembly wasn't an issue but there are a lot of screws, but what do you expect for this size table!!? Wasn't an issue and we had it together in about 30 minutes. My only complaint is that it does scuff/scratch easily. For the price I didn't expect much and it's not like it's gouged, but it marks easier than most tables. It's not an issue for us and my expectations of that were lower, but I have 5 kids and I can only dream of super nice furniture right now. But for our family, this is a great piece. Probably should have given it 4 stars, but halves weren't an option. I'd buy it again.**Edit for about 2 years later** Parts of the table are coming off. Screws aren’t holding together as well. Table table really scratches easily and there a gouges now, even on the legs. I can’t imagine keeping this table for much longer. Which is disappointing.

A million and one screws later, this baby is solid! No glue joins. Three board top interlocks, fits flush and tight. Perfect dining height. Uniform color throughout. Difficult to assemble (2 people in 2 hours) had to take off a star. We tried the WE Furniture 60" rectangle table, constructed poorly, sloppy glue joins, mismatch parts, we returned it (labeled as manufacturers defect) for this one nervous it's the same brand. Like night and day this table is superior construction, couldn't be happier.

This table comes with a crazy amount of screws and the holes were not pre drilled like they should have been BUT for under $300 delivered to my door and a little work to put it together it is still well worth it cause it's a beautiful and sturdy table! Didn't like the work to put it together but love love love the table!

First table came damaged (seemed to be a box issue which must have torn open during shipping), but was easy to exchange out. Second table came perfectly wrapped with no damage. We were able to put together by hand, but would recommend a drill for ease if you have one. Table was missing 3 pre-drilled holes, but we were able to measure and do it ourselves. It has been a wonderful gaming table for us as 8 people easily fit around it. Finish was exactly as expected and goes amazing with our purple chairs!
