For Love of Evil: Book Six of Incarnations of Immortality (Incarnations of Immortality, 6)

The product was received in very good condition and ahead of schedule. The sixth book of the Incarnations of Immortality series is a continuation of the fantasy series. A highly recommended set that delves into these roles that guide human lives and after. The series deals with Time, War, Fate, Death, Mother Nature and continues with Satan and God. I recommend this series as it asks and answers questions each character must deal with in the role. The author has many other excellent series that I enjoy also ... the long running Xanth series is quite a fun and humorous journey in each installment.

Of all the books in the incarnations of immortality series, this one was definitely the most intriguing and probably my favorite of the bunch. This novel provided the opportunity to learn the perspective of the "villian" in the series which is something that I find is not often explored in most novels, at least not to this extent. This exploration gave the series as a whole much more substance and gave the actions in the preceding novels much more context as well. This novel not only developed the devil, but also served to develop the other characters as well by virtue of the context it provided. The change in perspective was both thrilling and rewarding and made this series that much better for it.

This was one of my favorite books as a kid and stuck with me as something I definitely wanted to read again. Of the Incarnations of Immortality, this and On a Pale Horse are definitely my favorites. A very interesting read that allows you to ponder what evil truly is, what the purpose of life and determining which side you choose to be on, and why God would allow the Devil. High recommend it.

In the world of what might be the future of mankind, the great showdown between Good and Evil is about to take place. And it is Satan's intention to win. In perhaps the best of his Incarnation works, Piers Anthony has taken the world's oldest Antagonist, Satan (aka Lucifer, Scrotch, the Devil) and turned him into a great Protagonist. One great aspect is that it can be read as part of the series or by itself. It contains enough of the plot of all the work that a novice Anthony reader would not get lost. However, it is not a rehash of what has already been written. Because of the acute difference in viewpoint, it is a completely new story. Anyway, read and enjoy!

BEST book in the series! By FAR!Although the first book was AMAZING, this one just brings everything together in a marvelous way!Should have ended with this one IMHO. The end is just a tad disappointing, although I haven't finished reading book 7 yet, therefore I don't really know how it's going to end and I do hope it's very satisfying since there is such a huge build up!

Piers Anthony for me is a GOD he has a writing sense that no one can ever touch,I have read both books long ago,it will be good to read them agian the whole series is Fabtastic

If you don't read the first five first you can't understand this one as well as you would like to. They are required and assumed.

I Love Piers Anthony! I have the entire Incarnations of Immortality series and love it! Have read it again and again! Will continue to buy them until he no longer writes them, may he live forever!!

Die ersten 5 Bücher der Reihe gehören zu meinen all-time favourites, aber dass es auch noch Band 6 und 7 gibt habe ich total verpasst (sind ja vor über 20 Jahren erschienen). Also gekauft und im Urlaub verschlungen - und es hat sich gelohnt.Die Story ist jetzt nicht wirklich neu, weil die Interaktionen von "Satan" mit den anderen Inkarnationen in den ersten 5 Bänden aus den jeweils gegensätzlichen Blickwinkeln erzählt werden - aber die ganze zusammenhängende Geschichte aus seiner Sichtweise zu lesen hat mir gut gefallen.
