I do a lot of hydraulic cylinders. Snap rings are large and strong and ya need something large and strong to deal with them. This set fills the bill and does the job. I particularly like the 90* degree angle ones for tight hard to reach spots. I HIGHLY recommend this set. I like the little case they come in. Keeps them all together and makes storage easy!

Very good mini plier set
I needed a ring plier for a lawn mower repair and bought this set. These are tiny pliers but fit into small ring holes. The tips are rather sturdy. I exerted a fair amount of force top remove a ring and the tips were undamaged. The greatest frustration with ring pliers is the tips bend or round out. Then use becomes very difficult as the tips pop out of the ring under pressure. My guess these are forged not stamped pliers. So far, they are working well.
