Dragon Fire Academy 1: First Term

Brilliant opening book to this series - read in under a day and now onto the next one. My ADHD brain thanks you for providing the ultimate distraction x

Wow this looks to be a great series, and it's only the first term. Eagerly anticipating more tense and great page turning storytelling.

Great characters who are so well developed they kind of draw you in until your world is nothing but their story. The FMC has had her share of bullying but has managed to overcome this. She wants to prove to others as well as herself that she is better than her title and that she can work as hard as anyone else can to get where she wants to go. Only problem is she has yet to transition. Being a dragon/wolf/witch hybrid, thefirst of her kind, no one knows what will happen nor whether she will become dangerous or not, hence plan b 😲.Then there is Ori, Kai, Rayen and Paulo, have your fans handy girls, book boyfriends aplenty. They become her reluctant guardians and they don't like that they get babysitting duties and pretty tell her so.This is a faced paced story with plenty twists, full of so much excitement, the writing is amazing, the scene building sublime, I mean that waterfall 🤩. From page one I was literally sucked in.Loved it!!!.I originally had this book and from the first few pages realised it would be a good idea to read The Lost Royals series first (it's about Noelle's mum and dad after all), which by the way is awesome.

Having read The Lost Royals Saga by this author (which I loved btw) I was a little hesitant about picking up this book as I'm not a fan of series that follow the children of characters from that series. What swayed me to give this book a try thpugh was the mention of Dragons. Now I love anything to do with Dragons, particularly books about them and I am so glad I decided to read Dragon Fire Academy as I loved it! Noelle is such a great character, I actually found I prefer her to her mother from The Lost Royals Saga. She has spunk and is kickass but she also has a good heart. Now, you don't need to of read The Lost Royals Saga to read this book, but I do recommend you do as it does give you a much better understanding of where Noelle comes from.I really loved the story line and the four hot Dragons also added to it, I love that we get their POV in the book too. This book really did excite me and I read it all in one sitting. I'm looking forward to the release of book two so that I can read it straight away. Five stars from me for an enjoyable read.

This book is action packed, exciting, mysterious, fun and dangerous.The storyline is intriguing and the characters are fun, I’m looking forward to finding out what’s going on and uncovering some of the mysteries and questions left from this book!🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is a PG super slow burn RH. In the first book we are introduced to the main characters and we learn about the island and its inhabitants. The academy is intended to be the backdrop, but it isn’t really a big feature. It could have easily been another setting.I enjoyed reading the book. It is a fantasy world building adventure with undertones of romance. It mentions the idea of intimacy but there are literally only 4 kisses in this book.

The characters are fab, and not having a brash in your face f mc that can Kick ass is rare these days as I love a strong woman but no one can find the balance on this occasion the author did. Its setting on the island could be explored a bit more, and the way her father was with her and him being a who he is you would of thought there would be more involvement there aswell confused on that one.This is the second book I’ve read where the urgency/drama and the oomf wasn’t there for me. Weather this is due to me reading so many pnr rh’s or other reasons. Its well worth a read it’s each to their own, I will be reading book 2 just to see where it goes.
