Plastic
It does not fit a base 2003 Toyota matrix. It is made of plastic and not rubber or heavy duty to manage what serpentine belt do. Unfortunately, I could not get someone to put it on until yesterday, and it was too long in length for the car, and also passed the time to return it. What I learned: if I believe something I purchased online to be an inferior product I will return it without delay and also to not depend on the manufacturers recommendation for my specific car or Amazon's automotive algorithms until it is perfected which of course in time it will be, Amazon is especially good at car part returns. I also learned from this purchase to look up car parts according to Vin number located on Matrix driver's side door. You can't go wrong ordering car parts according to Vehicle Identification Number.

Correct for a 2000 Mercedes C230K for AC,PWR Steering,Water pump, if you put it on correctly
I've driven 200 miles since installing and everything is great so far. When I first put it on, I thought it was the wrong belt because it was 6 inches or more too long. I couldn't use the old belt for comparison because the tensioner pulley went bad and my old belt was melted and twisted. After looking again, I realized I had routed it wrong and tried again. It fit perfectly. Replacing this belt and the pulley was a quick, easy job. BTW: a 10mm socket worked great for the tensioner so I didn't even have to buy an external Torx socket.

Only last 3 1/2 months
I bought this belt in June and at first it was great but fast forward 3 1/2 months later and it looks older and more worn than the one I switched it with. Took the car to the dealer and they said it needs to be replaced. Don't waste your money, get your belt from the auto parts store.

Measure first
This is 111.5 inches, my truck came up with the the smaller size belt so it is best to measure your belt with a tape to make sure the right one arrives
