This sculpture is made in the style of and inspired by Giacometti, tall and thin. The title of this sculpture is 'Reaching Higher', after Giacometti's 'walking man'. You can see that this figure is reaching for the stars, with a raw brutalist feeling. This sculpture was made by the living artist Shawn Tyler who is very proficient at creating in the style of famous artists. Quite tall, this sculpture stands right at 41 inches tall including the base, 20 inches wide and about 15 inches deep, or 1.04 meters x 51cm x 38 cm. Lovely!
