MagformersBuild Up 50 Piece Set - Magnetic Tiles Building Blocks, Educational Kit, STEM Toy Set - Magnetic Building Tiles for Kids to Develop Problem-Solving Abilities and Shape Recognition

This is a less common set that my 4yo picked out when I showed him the pictures of various sets of Magformers listed on Amazon. He liked this set as it came with extra attachments to serve as the brick walls (in brown and white), windows, balcony, and door as well, all of which he could use to build houses or buildings with. The basic pieces in the set came in opaque colours and each piece in dual colours (1 colour on each side, eg. Yellow and white, red and white). The pictorial instructions could be improved but that shouldn't deter anyone from purchasing this set. 50pcs sounded like alot at first, but we will probably get him another basic set to complement this set, so that he can build more/bigger structures. As this is our first encounter with Magformers, the quality is 5-star and worth the price (we paid $59.99 for this set).

These magnets are amazing. Hours and hours, months and months of fun. A great item to add to over time.

Se lo regale a mi hijo de 3 anos. Ya tenia los tipicos tiles imantados lisos sin agujero y se pasaba horas armando cosas entonces le compre estos para que siga armando pero incorpore otras habilidades porque son al estilo pero distintos. Estos requieren un manejo y fuerza diferentes y se puede armar algunas cosas que con los otros no. Los imanes son mas fuertes lo cual genera mayor dificultad de manejo porque se les pegan entre si a la hora de armar pero a la vez eso hace que la estructura armada se mantenga y se pueda transladar teniendo el cuidado necesario por supuesto. Lo que me gusta es que va aprendiendo la diferencia entre ambos, entendiendo que se puede hacer con uno y otro y aplicando distinta fuerza y manejo para cada uno. Juega a veces con uno y a veces con otro y le atraen por igual. En cuanto a calidad los Magformers son muy buenos y seguros, es imposible que el iman se salga salvo casos extremos. Los colores son muy lindos y se ve que se van a mantener bien. Tambien compre los accesorios para armar casas con paredes de ladrillo y ventanas y le encanta.

Was a little tricky to setup the 1st time but realized we needed to snap into place the windows. Compatible with MagnaTiles

I love these! My grandson is really into construction equipment. He loves building--or maybe seeing me build--from the guide that is included with the set. This is something I can do with him, so it is great for both of us. He is only 3, so is a little too young to figure out how to put them together by himself, but I have no doubt he will grow into it in time. Magnaformers are great for building problem solving, construction, and puzzle type skill in children. I have grandchildren ages from 3 years to 12 years and they all like to construct with them.

A great set for those who would like some roof, door and window pieces. Keep in mind, you are getting about 1/2 plastic snap in pieces and 1/2 magnetic building pieces. The plastic pieces snap into the magnetic ones. I think this is why the reviews of this particular set are lower, people dont understand this when buying.This is a great set for people who already own a lot of magformers and want to expand on the specialty pieces. My 4 and 8 year olds love them! They are currently fighting over them. :) A tip- the tiny Beanie Babies fit inside magformers perfectly. My kids love having these mini stuffed animals "drive and live" in their creations. If you are thinking about starting your magformer collection, not sure I would start with this set. However, magformers are well worth the cost. We bought them 5 years ago for 3 year olds. They have been played with more than any other toy we own (every day for almost 2 years straight) and look just as new as the day we bought them.

It's kind of frustrating that these are SO expensive. I paid $50 for two sets so my boys could make two trucks. But...they are amazing sets. I wish Magformers had more construction/ambulence/fire kinds of sets. Maybe a similar style for the astronaut or other things. My kids LOVE them. They have the firefighter one too. I liked that this set has brown and white people. I wish the other sets had that or that you could buy more figures seperately. We have regular magnets too, but these have been far more popular. My boys (6, 4, 3) get so creative with them!

My kids love these magformers! They are so cute and the walls are interchangeable. I am never disappointed with this brand! Excellent quality and fun for all ages!

Grandkids love this product. It is ine if their most played with toy.

My daughter loves playing with these! No issues so far. These were to add to the ones she already had and none have broken or anything, even after dropping them many times. Only thing is you have to buy more then one set or one large set to have enough pieces to build things so it can be costly. I waited for when they went on sale.

You can grab the roof, pull up, and make a tower…..or rocket. We have a few Magformers kits and my 4yr old really likes this one

Was disappointed to find only 28 magnetic pieces. Not much if you only have this set. Makes very limited number of buildings, but they are pretty.
