The voltage is constant at normal rpm
If you want to change the color spray it heat resistant paint the day before installation. The output is 13.5 spot on!

Destroyed itself after 4 months
Buyer beware - cheap China parts! Worked for about 4 months, but parts started coming loose inside the alternator and destroyed it. We took it apart and it appears a capacitor had come loose and was scraping on things and sparking! Not recommended!!!
