Genuine Parts 13498958 Automatic Headlamp Control Ambient Light Sensor

The first one I ordered arrived with the sealed broke. I tried it and it did not work. I returned for another one and that arrived in a sealed package - and it works great!Good part, Amazon quickly exchanged it for one unopened and now the lights work correctly.

The automatic headlights on my old 2006 grandma car started to only work periodically starting a few months ago. Got this and now they work perfectly. Really easy to change myself, the only tool I needed was a flat head screwdriver to depress the clip on the old one to get it off the cable.

Make sure you check if your sensor is 2 or 4 wires. This one is 4 wires. Checked the 2 wire, amazon said it wont fit my 2003 Silverado HD 2500. was pretty sure it was 2 wire managed a sneak peek with the radio out of the Dash. Ordered both had the hassle of sending one back.FYI Check out a Utube video for removal of Tahoe, suburban, Silverado, dash. Product may have been a good sensor. Once again amazon states this will fit my truck, but it indeed does not fit my truck. Going to stick with reputable auto sights that can provide similar deals and have better track record for providing service.

Amazon's app stated that it would fit my 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 extended cab 2 wheel drive. IT DID NOT!!Check the quick connect plug before ordering, that's what my boneheaded ass should have done.

My headlights would not turn off and on with the light outside, they would just stay on. In order to turn them off, I would have to turn off auto after replacing this, and it was very easy it works again.

This sensor is just what i needed and works very well.
