No residue. Not drying. Won’t leave your tub or drains clogged. Foams well with a loofah/cloth. I use an agave washcloth and works great. The lime verbena smells a little like bug spray to me so I will get the unscented next time. Hoping for more scents in this formulation.

This was better than the charcoal bar but still not great. I didn’t feel super clean and refreshed after my showers. Smelled okay. My boy friend didn’t care for the smell much either. I felt like I needed a shower again by the end of the day… and I just work an office job. LOVE THE PACKAGING AND THE OVERALL IDEA OF BEING EARTH FRIENDLY THOUGH! Also not sure why the charcoal bar is bigger but cheaper?!?!

This is a review for: Ethique Cream Body Wash Bar for Sensitive Skin - Lime and Lemongrass - Natural Body Cleanser, Hydrating Coconut Butter, Soap Free, pH Balanced, Vegan, Plastic Free Compostable and Zero Waste, 3.7 oz.I have pretty dry skin overall that needs a lot of moisturizing during the winter.I was hoping this bar would give me enough moisture and help get rid of unwanted plastic too.I have a bit of mixed feelings for this. It does have a nice, light, refreshing scent.It lathers well enough (I use a loofah) and the first time I used it, it was nice and pretty moisturizing.The second time I used this was after a workout, so I was a bit sweaty - not sure if this made any difference or not but the second time, it was a bit too squeaky (like when you use regular soap) and the lather didn't apply as well as the first time. I'm not sure why that happened.I ended up just using my usual cream body wash.I'll try again and maybe get more lather out of it. For me, this might be best during summer when I don't need as much moisturizing.

Nice bar of soap. I get great lather that deeply cleans my skin. After washing, my skin feels squeaky clean. The soap leaves no residue. I have fairly sensitive skin and this does not bother me in any fashion. I would recommend this soap!

I like the Ethique Cream Body Wash Bar for Sensitive Skin. It has a mild Lime and Lemongrass scent, and it naturally cleanses my skin, leaving it healthy feeling. However, I like my soaps to lather, and this soap is practically none lathering at all. I feel that I’m using more soap than needed, just to produce enough lather to make me feel like I’m bathing myself. Perhaps I just have to get used to it. I also think it’s a bit pricy. For these two reasons, I’m deducting a star from the rating, but still recommend it as a good quality soap for sensitive skin.

This cream body wash bar is very soothing and moisturizing. To use, I rubbed some on my skin in the shower then used my hands to work it into a little bit of a lather. The product does not lather as much as soap, but it does give the impression of washing with a bar of soap. The smell is light and citrus-like; very nice while in the shower and using, but it fades quickly after drying. The lotion feel of the product makes it perfect for using to shave my legs. My skin felt clean and soft after using.

This pleasantly citrusy scented geometrically shaped soap has a vegan label on the thin cardboard box. Although it doesn't lather much, it does have a tiny bit of lathering action as it cleans. The green color comes from mica and a mysterious ingredient, c177288, which seems to be made of chromium oxide.
