These socks have a great sole cushion, and are very comfortable. Even in the hot Arizona desert weather! The company's policy of lifetime guarantee is for real, as these are replacing a previous thinner pair I bought that wore out partially, not even a full hole. I was given a credit to use however I wanted on their site and bought this nice pair of medium weight.

I am a huge fan of Darn Tough socks. I could find this color anywhere else. This is my preferred height too so they overlap with my pants to keep bugs out. The elastic doesn’t give out like other brands so they stay up for yrs.

Love these for winter socks. Hand washing does not prevent pilling, but that’s okay. Nice colors and patterns to choose from. Made in USA!

Have worn these with walking shoes, felt so nice on my feet & helped keep swelling down on ankle area! Bought them for hiking boots, shopped for boots at box stores, no luck, have ordered boots from Amazon instead. Will try the socks out when I get my new boots.... Hope these socks last a long time as I about fainted at the price! Other people have told me that a good thick sock makes hiking much more comfortable...

Wore it for my hiking trip to Mt. Shasta / Lassen National Park with quite rocky terrain. Had bunch of volcanic rock pieces stuck on it and still did not get damaged. Provided so much cushioning that I desperately needed for such terrain while being quite good at letting my feet stay quite cool throughout the hikes. Hand washed after every use and definitely did not develop any smell even after quite substantial number of hours and occasions of usage. Comes with a lifetime warranty, too thus I am definitely satisfied!!

Love these socks!!!♡♡♡♡My husband got a pair while we were in Vermont visiting his brother who recommended them HIGHLY. My husband never went back to "ordinary" socks again. I decided to try the cushioned hiking pair when I'm on my feet all day at work and now I can never go back either. The "warranty " alone makes these socks worth the investment but the comfort of them has me forever loyal.

What is this design? All of this extra toe room sure makes it crowded and uncomfortable in any footwear I own, which are all shaped like traditional five-toed human feet. I wish these socks were too because they’re cute and soft. If I had seven toes, two on either end without bones, these would be perfect. Idk if this is just a defective pair or if this is a new era for Darntough, but in any event I’m disappointed. The size is otherwise correct (M for a women’s size 8).

I absolutely love these socks! I started hiking this summer and had some issues with blisters. I thought it was my boots but it seemed like boots and socks were the culprit so after doing some research I decided to invest in some good quality socks and they made all the difference! Super comfortable and not bulky. They wash well. Will definitely buy some more pairs for next year.

If I could give it 6 stars I would. It fit perfect, felt soft and comfortable and kept my feet so warm. Last week I was out in -20 cold wearing normal cotton socks and I had to cut hike short and my toes were going numb. Today, same temp and wearing same boots and my toes were toasty. The colours are fun too. Although longevity-wise I cant speak to these actual socks but my darn tough light cushion (much thinner) lasted 14 months wearing nearly every day, minus summer. You might think, eww, how can she wear these socks everyday. I promise you they don’t smell after several days wear even. Life time guarantee. Socks arrived before expected. I’m a happy customer!

As before I haven't been let down by this brand. Very comfortable and will keep my feet warm this winter.
