Bought this to replace the previous one that blew the hose out and nearly caused an undesired event. This one is way better made and works good igniting charcoal grills, fire pits, and brush piles. Valve is tight with smooth opening to control the flame. Afterburner handle works good and will grab the attention of the neighbors. I got the one without the ignitor and just use and old-fashioned acetylene torch striker.

Flame King Propane Torch Kit Heavy Duty Weed Burner Powerful 320,000 BTU -- I bought this torch for the specific purpose of heating ceramic floor tile that I needed to remove without breaking them. Doing a remodel where most of the flooring did not require replacing. Tile were too old to find a match as is the problem in most cases. The torch worked perfectly for this purpose. Was able to save all the tile that I intended to and reused them. If you need to do the same, videos are out there to learn.

Having to use a striker to ignite flame is ungainly. Head works fine just wish an ignitor was built in

This product is just as described. Its easy to use. It was exactly what I wanted and works great.

Gas bottle lasts longer than I hope for. I was happy about that. Be gentle with the head area of burner because it is easily damaged/broken. Needs a better design in that area. Otherwise I like the tool and recommend it.

Cheap enough for a one-time job restoring some faded vinyl shutters, and much less expensive than replacing them. The shutters were originally dark blue but had faded in the sun to nearly white. Did some experiments using chemicals but heat turned out to be best answer. I wanted a broad flame to evenly cover the shutters. This sure did the trick, using the propane tank from my grille. I removed the shutters from my house and did the task on the concrete driveway apron, to avoid accidentally starting a fire in the garage or damaging the asphalt or grass. Yeah, stopped traffic with the big flame and noise! This torch did a wonderful job and amazed my spouse!

As with other reviews, I did not get the igniter. It feels like a sturdy piece so I’m keeping it but just be aware that you’re probably going to have to buy the igniter. AND…customer service didn’t answer the phone for replacement part. Tsk tsk

Works well. Built well.

Great way to light charcoal vs a chimney, way less smoke. Only takes about 2 minutes to fire up the coals. It is loud when shooting full flame but it’s only for a couple of minutes. Easy to light and adjust.
