I love this stuff. It works very well, I have also used their Watercolor Tress Liquid Copper version, I like this one better (intense metallic copper). Mostly because I can use this one several times over to increase intensity and it just turns more copper. The other one (Watercolor tress liquid copper) tends to turn more red than copper when used several times over. I use it 1-2 times a week and use it 3-5 min 3 consecutive times in a row for the intensity seen in the pic furthest to the right. The first pic on the left is the gloss I get every 6 weeks. The center is what it looks like after 3.5 weeks without this shampoo. The right one is what it looks like after 3.5 weeks of using the shampoo. I should mentione that my hair is lightened with vol 20 and that the color does not stick to my roots that grow out, it works on the areas that have been lightened when I go to the hairdresser. So it may not work very well on hair that has only been glossed as opposed tl hair that has been lightened by either permanent hair dye or highlights. I have been careful within reason, to not get the shampoo on clothing or shower floors/walls. I have arctic white grout and white tile in my shower, the shower floor has light marble and a light grey grout. It has spilled on floor and walls some but has not stained my grout or tile. It has surprisingly also not stained my towels or clothes when hair was still wet. Not sure how they managed that one 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also, I like the consistency of this one better than the other one I mentioned. This one is thicker, the other one was runny making it harder to distribute. The pics don’t really do the color justice if I’m honest. It looks more even and vibrant in real life.

The delivery: It arrived on time and well packaged. The rat-tail comb that was included was also in good condition. I just wish this was a Prime vendor so I didn't have to pay extra for shipping. The product: I ordered the Intense Metallic Rose Gold shade. Straight out of the bottle, the shampoo is a dark pink color with metallic gold flecks in it. It has a pleasant floral scent to it and lathers extremely well - thick lush lather, very satisfying! Pros: I've used Watercolors before when my hair was a darker and had great results and this shade did not disappoint! First, I have afro-textured 3b/4a curly-coily hair that has been chemically lightened. My color was already rose gold but it was a more on the copper side and the goal was to add more of the rose tone to it. I only used one application of the product and left it on for about 3 mins while I finished showering. It gave me a rich color payout of hot-pink tint with a golden metallic sheen to it that really shows up great in the light. Although it turned out a little darker than I'd wanted, I'm not completely mad at that. I'll probably just leave it on for less time on my next use. Cons: I find this shampoo tends to leave my hair feeling "stripped". It's similar to how a clarifying shampoo would make your hair feel after rinsing out. This was the same with the other shade that I'd used in the past. My hair requires a lot of moisture to keep it healthy and keep my curls poppin. So I recommend a deep conditioning treatment and a moisturizing leave-in condish after using it. Overall, the product does was its supposed to do, does it well and I would absolutely purchase it again. I'm a fan!

I have used several colors of this shampoo. All of them help maintain colors.

Shampoo is very strong in the sense that it turned my newly blonde hair purple. That’s the only reason I gave it 4 starts. Oh, and the product came open (luckily it was in a sealed bag), but that annoyed me too. Seems to be a reoccurring thing if you look at the picture reviews. Besides the silly things, I don’t have a problem with the shampoo. Looks, feels, smells and works good.

It is very gentle. The color does build up. The silver is good for removing brassiness, the Steel color may be too dark ( unless that it what you want). It is expensive and worth it.

Disappointed as it’s not sealed. Shampoo leaked out of the bottle. It also leaked on my other item.

Best shampoo for red heads hair. The shampoo was originally only available at beauty supply stores by beauticians. It’s now available for everyone at a cheaper price.

Product lid taped shut. Tape is very tough to remove. Product leaked and dried under the tape and down the sides of the bottle. Shipping box was not damaged.
