Excellent little alarm clock!
So I'd like to start by saying I basically never write reviews. But, I like this product so much that I'm motivated to write one for anyone else out there with my very specific requirements for an alarm clock, which this one finally meets, and then some.Absolute necessities this clock has, with added bonuses:1) Light can be turned off. But when it is on, it'not too bright. Added bonus: nice mellow green color and the light stays on a full five seconds as compared to others that seem to only be on about 2-3 seconds.2) Easy to change the alarm time. And you can go up or down. Just a few buttons on the front.3) Easy snooze/light button. Added bonus - it's actually a cool sensor instead of a button4) Displays the alarm time on the face of the clock at all times. Added bonus, this clock has four alarm times, and all four are displayed on the face at all times. Easy to check what time your alarm is set at any time. And the 4 alarms are super easy to turn on and off with two slide switches on each side. Not having the alarm time on the face of the of the clock is a complete deal breaker for me. Don't understand how an alarm cock could not have this feature.5) The alarm is loud enough, but not shock you out of bed loud. Added bonus, it actually starts quieter and gets louder, instead of the other absurd alarms that don't actually get louder, just beep faster.Minuses:1) The buttons are a little loud when you push them. But, they are not nearly as loud as some - I don't understand why anyone would make a bedside clock with buttons louder than the alarm beep! These are not that bad, but I prefer practically silent buttons. However, this minus is greatly alleviated by the four alarms. I wake up at about 3-4 different time during the week, so I set all four alarms, then just slide one switch off and the other on to change which alarm is activated. These buttons are probably not loud enough to wake up my wife, but it doesn't matter most the time.2) The snooze is only 5 minutes. I just don't get whose idea it was to have most alarm clocks switch to a 5 minute snooze instead of the old 9 minutes. But this is also alleviated by the four alarms - usually a few of mine are close enough in time to each other that I can just turn one off, and the other on.In short, this clock is actually perfect for me - after I broke my last alarm clock that I had for about ten years and was close to perfect for me, I searched for month, hours and hours online, and I bought three clocks before this one. Each one of the three was great, but had either one fatal flaw or another. Finally I found one that not only meets all my absolute necessities, but has some awesome added bonuses. Another note - I did not get a free clock to give this review. In fact, I bought a second, because after that long search, I wanted a backup!Hope this helps someone out there with similarly particular alarm clock preferences!

Atomic clock with 4 alarms.
Biggest problem I've experienced with this clock is that if you have it so that you can read the clock in the dark, it's very bright and bothersome when you're trying to sleep. If you turn it the backlight off then you can't read the clock at all and have to reach over and press the top, which is a switch, and then the clock will light up for 5-seconds. Also, my clock wouldn't auto-set the time when I installed the batteries. I've had other atomic clocks that would auto-set the time as soon as the battery was installed. It's a nice little clock but not something I want on my nightstand. It also shows the temperature, and I like that. I will find something else and move this one to somewhere else.

Nicely featured clock, but with a few drawbacks.
Pros:. Accurate, with manual or automatic setting. I like my clocks set 5min ahead but I also like the option of having it set itself.. Four alarm feature is really nice. I have to get up at 3 different times during the week and having them all preset with just a flip of a switch needed to activate is very helpful.. Alarm starts quiet andgets louder. No one needs to be shocked into waking up.. Love that it gives the temp too.Cons:. Battery cover comes off REALLY easily, as do the batteries. We're talking an 18-inch tumble onto a carpeted floor, and the little door pops right off and the batteries scatter. The clock retains none of its settings so you have to then reset the time, date, and all four alarms. I've taped the battery compartment because this has happened 2-3 times.. The alarm sounds from the back of the clock so if it happens to fall on its back, you won't hear the alarm. At all. My cat knocked it over on my bedside table and I was late to work that day.. I feel like both of the above are real drawbacks to an item you'll mostly be reaching for when it's dark, and/ or you're half asleep.

Handy Clock - with Seperate Alarm Switches
Great Clock with four visible alarms. Got this to remind a relative when to take meds during the day, as well as what time it was. The day date and temperature were a nice touch. In the end, The alarms were a bit too difficult to turn off with the slider switches, so this was moved to the office. For the average person, this would be no big deal but for a strength-compromised patient, it might be and was in our case. Back light works great and wish you could keep it on all the time, perhaps at a lower level, but on a battery clock, that would seriously limit battery life. Also, survived a four foot-fall to wood floor with just the battery cover popping off and not visible damage at all. Your mileage may vary. All in all, a great clock.

- The atomic clock function did not work which was a big draw to buying it. It would not sync when done manually or left on to auto sync after several days.- The display is extremely limited in viewing angles and hard to read especially at night with the auto back light.- The four alarms was a nice touch but they are a pain to set as you have 2 buttons to set them forward and back as you can't go by hour and time like most clocks so your left holding the button for what seems like a good minute to go a full 24h in one direction. The alarms themselves don't get loud and their very quiet, they start at an whisper than gradually raises in volume to a outside voice in terms of volume so it's definitely not a clock to heavy sleepers.- There is nothing to hold the battery door securely so it's prone to popping off with ease.- The temperature being displayed was a nice touch- Has all the features I would want in what would be an almost perfect alarm clock for me, but it failed badly in execution. I really wanted to like this but I can't remotely bring myself to do so as it doesn't do anything well except display the temperature.
