Great shavers and they last for a while

TRIED MULTIPLE DIFFERENT RAZORS AND ALL OF THEM IRRITATED THE BACK OF MY HEAD, THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT DOESNT. LOVE THE FLIP FOR CLOSE AREAS LIKE MY MUSTACHE. EVEN GOES AGAINST THE GRAIN ON MY DONG WITH NO IRRITATION! BUT I CANT FIND THIS RAZOR ANYWHERE IN STORES, SO AMAZON IS MY GO TO.

I have been using this product for the past few years. This Schick Xtreme men’s, 5 blade disposable razor is far superior to any other comparable men’s brands of this product and far superior to any women’s 5 blade disposable razor that I have used. That being said I still feel that as good as this product is , it could be far better if the blades were sharper and did not become dull and less effective relatively quickly. I also think that the flip up trimmer flips up frequently and unnecessarily making it a big nuisance with no admirable benefits.

These have a precision trimmer that allows you to flip back the top portion that has the annoying, unneeded slime strip on it. Keeps the oily substance off your face. The ingredients in most of these strips are glycerin, and oils. They are not good for your skin and cause acne, so I'm happy these give the option to not have to use it. Close shave and last!

I love the fact that you can move the slime strip out of the way. Very smooth comfortable shave. The blades don't get clogged up with hair either. Its my new favorite shaver.

I was surprised by how good of a shave these give, and more than once per razor. Definitely the razor to take on a trip.

Can’t find them in stores and if you do it’s cartridges only, the quality isn’t the same. I used to have a clean 3day shave, but after 24 hours, I can feel the stubble already. The vendor did a very good job, it’s not their fault.

I know these are just disposable, but my face is not. I have used the disposable Schick track II blades and they were ok. The ones I received . . . well lets just say I am not impressed. First off guys, you know how it feels when the blades get dull and that pulling sensation that has you looking for blood drops. Well, both these razors did that from the first go.I am 59 years old and I have tried sooooo many razors. I know the bristles on my face are possibly harder than other men. I also know, like you do, from so much shaving that sometimes the new blades may not be set right or on the slight wrong angle, etc. These blades feel that way to me. I do not think they would intentionally sell these, but for me I cannot give five stars with these blades.The one thing I did like was how you can put the protective piece out of the way easily to get up close under the nose. That is awesome and if the blades did not hurt so much I know this would have received six stars easy. Sadly, however I got a defective pack I hope.

The Schick Xtreme 5 comes with a handle and two disposable razors. Each blade has five blades. The blades provide a smooth, frictionless shave as advertised. The five blades did a good job of making quick work of my week-old stubble.For everyday shaves, I only need a single pass to get a smooth shave. I experienced no nicks or cuts while using these blades for over a month. Since I only need one pass with these blades there is also noticeably less razor burn than with many other disposable blades. In addition, I was able to use a single razor for several weeks before needing to swap it, so these blades last a reasonably long time.The only drawback to this razor was the precision trim feature. It's needlessly awkward to hold the blade and concentrate on shaving precise areas while flipping back and holding the strip. I don't think it's a good design. For me, this is not a big deal because I never use disposable razors to do precision shaves and save that for my little power trimmer. Others might find this more dissipating. Overall, I would try this razor if smooth, clean shaves are the top priority.

Quick Review:These razors work VERY well...with 5 blades, a single pass is all that's needed and the blades last longer as well.The shave is close, without irritation, and the hydrating gel works great too.Comfortable to hold and use however the precision trimmer feature is awkward to use. (I've always used an electric trimmer anyway so no biggie for me)I'm not a fan of disposable razors (for no other reason than the impact on the environment) but these are great for travel and I have no complaints here.

I switched to Schick Hydro 5 about 3 years ago and keep trying different razors but I keep coming back to Hydro 5 but Schick Xtreme 5 are equally as amazing. My face is extremely sensitive but I don't feel anything with these razors (no pull or abrasive sensations) and my face has not broken out or turned red. I'm not sure I'll make the switch to these ones since I get 3 razors with the Hydro series and you only get 2 with the Xtreme but they will be my backup.
