For 1 piece manifold Mercruiser
I have a 1997 Mercruiser 4.3 LX. This year and older units have a one piece manifold without the risers. The flapper for the newer manifolds with the risers are significantly smaller than the gap in the elbow joint. This flapper is the right size for the older model. Only bad thing is, it's sold as a single unit and not a pair of flappers, so you'll have to order twice to replace both sets. It fits well and stopped water backing up into the exhaust manifold.
