When it's hard to eat, these are a good way to go. I don't care for the hidden MSG coming from the "natural flavors' so I went with the plain, thinking it may taste like chalk. I'm pleasantly surprised it actually tastes pretty good, even without adding any pure vanilla extract (I've not felt the need to add anything). Sorry I can't really describe the flavor but it's better than 'plain'. I prefer the less protein version such as this one. YES, I will buy these again and wish the Arizona hospitals would carry the plain in the cafeteria for patients to order. So many junky 'nutrition' shakes out there and these are the best I've found. Value is rather low but it's necessary so what are you gonna do?

I frequently have nausea, so sometimes it’s difficult to get actual food in. These shakes work well without adding to my nausea, and go down very easily! They are balanced and have a lot of vitamins. The texture is slightly chalky, but nothing terrible. It tastes a lot better cold, and the chalkiness went away when I mixed it with a few ounces of water.

Came unharmed in excellent packaging - Expiration date a year from delivery - love the taste (chocolate is the only one I've tried) I warm it up and it is like a yummy hot chocolate. I have a very sensitive stomach but this is easy on my stomach and causes no problems. I have some issues with solid foods so this covers all the bases for nutrition - my internist recommended this product - a bit pricy but I'm happy to pay since it solves many of my needs.

My child lives this milk over the others formulas like the children's version of Kate Farms chocolate, strawberry or vanilla. Plain is his favorite. Tastes just like unsweetened Almond milk & 2% cow's milk. This is great for Autism children who are picky eaters, or have a texture issue with solid foods. This really helps fill in the nutrients gaps. My child's licensed dietician prescribed this actual product for my child since he doesn't eat much solid foods due to his Autism.
