Perfect, great quality. We needed the vent to cover an old opening on external wall, for non functional chimney breast. It fitted very well.

My mum wanted this to go under her black electric fire in her newly decorated lounge. It looks really good, she is pleased with it.

Good quality product

This is quoted as a "100mm" grille, but unlike all the other 100mm grilles listed on Amazon, that measurement in this case relates to the total width of the plate - NOT to the actual vent width covered. The actual slatted louvres are only around 60mm in height, meaning that its only really suitable of being used as a cover on much smaller 60mm pipes/vents. The design is simple with louvres integral to the cover through the metal having been simple cut and stamped to form the louvres - its a neat and simple design however the 'bars' of metal between each louvre are quite thick, which does restrict the airflow a little compared to some other designs. The compromise however is that it does provide some additional protection against damage with the stronger construction compared to some alternatives made of plastic etc. This is probably best used if covering a vent at low height where it might get kicked/knocked and a plastic cover would not be robust enough. Just bear in mind that it is effectively a 60mm vent cover, not really a 100mm vent cover.

We needed to replace a bent wall vent cover after we wallpapered. I could only find white ones at our local home improvement stores and I didn’t want to mess around with spray painting them. This vent cover came in black and it cost less than the white ones I saw. As stated, it doesn’t come with screws, but it was simple enough to use some random black drywall screws we had in our stash. Good quality and value for the price!
