Junglee K02105 Shenzi Knife 440, Razor

I own both versions of this knife, the plain edge and serrated. They both came with remarkably sharp cutting edges that easily rival those of razor blades. I was astounded by the razor-sharpness of the 440A steel as it compares quite favorably with knifes I own that have authentic 440C steel.Both knives are made in Taiwan and the quality control is readily apparent. Liner lockups on both knives are solid and secure. A noticeably audible click occurs upon lockup. The opening of both blades via thumb studs is smooth and effective. The handle scales appear to be stainless steel suitably coated in black.Best of all is the blade. The appearance of the stainless steel blade is mirror-like. The blade has aggressive jimping for the thumb that delivers a sense of not losing grip even under hard use circumstances. Both blades are perfectly centered. The blades are hollow ground clip points with an extended swedge that ends approximately one-half inch in front of the thumb stud. The bevel isn't identical on both sides of the blade as one side is more pronounced than the other . . . still the edge is wickedly sharp. Both the serrated and plain blades end in formidable points that are designed for piercing. Serrations are well executed. Cutting edge of plain blade measures 3.5 inches.The pocket clip is right side, tip down carry, and cannot be moved to the opposite scale. A smart metallic lanyard hole is provided. Given its price point, these two knives are well worth their price as they both deliver what is expected in a knife: quality build and every day carry utility. Unfortunately, Junglee is no longer in existence, but a limited number of these inexpensive well executed kinves are still available. Really glad I bought them.

This is without a doubt the best knife purchase I have ever made for less than 15 dollars. I was sceptical about the quality of such a cheap knife,that is until it arrived and put it to work. The knife arrived shaving sharp so sharp I tested it on some thin onion paper. Guess what ? it sliced right through it without tearing. This knife opens very slick and locks up tight. It's light and handy and the edge stays good and sharp for a long time. Buy it while you can because Junglee has went out of business once they are gone they're gone.

Great little knife for the price, got this for under $10... easy better than knives I've paid $30 for. Super sharp out of the box, slick opening. Great size for a EDC. Great starter knife....like I said for under $10 a steel... (pun)
