Great fit and effective!

These guards look and fit the same as the original part supplied by Insinkerator with the Evolution Excel garbage disposal. However, these guards are an improvement in that they do not cause the noticeable dam effect the OEM part is criticized for.

We hated our recently installed Frigidaire disposal because the supplied drain shield wouldn't let water through, even after i trimmed it back to open up the hole. These simple covers completely solved the problem.

Easy to insert and remove

Our garbage disposal's sink baffle ripped after many years, but replacing it normally requires that you unhook the garbage disposal (which is heavy), and I just wasn't willing to take the risk with all the plumbing under the sink. This replacement baffle is perfect. SImply slide it in from above (it fit my KitchenAid disposal perfectly), and voila! No more excess noise, no more items falling into the disposal, and no more dirty water splashing back up out of the drain. Couldn't be more pleased.

I bought these for neighbors whose old units were almost nonexistent. They both were thrilled & elated that they had new splash guards for their food disposers!!!

It looks & works as imtended.

I have American Standard disposal from Costco. I was not sure it would fit but it was a Perfect fit and works Better than the original.
