Works for the Water2 filter if you need a reducer!
Worked perfectly to fit my Water2 filter under the sink as it was a pain! Had to reduce the mains in to the tap tails and this solved the problem!

Good item.
Nothing wrong with these items. Had to send back due to the fact that they are the wrong size " my bad" . Hence the return. The quality of the item is very high, it looks like high grade steel, and will be able to work in any plumbing area as a connection or conversion to fit another plumbing system.

Made fitting the tap possible!
We had a tap with EU fittings and the push fit fittings were GB, these bridged the gap perfectly. I used a bit of PTFE tap on all the threads, attached them to the tap first then the pushfit attachment and boom. No need to over tighten, no leaks.

A must have for Grohe taps in the UK
I'd bought a Grohe kitchen tap, not realising they have 3/8" tails, so wouldn't connect to UK 1/2" isolating valves. Plumbers merchants only sell compression fittings that require you to fit a small length of pipe (or remove the isolating valves altogether), which I wasn't prepared to do. I was about to return the tap when I found these adaptors.Just screw onto the isolating valve (don't forget the seals) then screw the tap tail into the other end. Job done in under 5 minutes!

Great option to convert Euro 3/8 to UK 1/2 connection
I don’t know why tap suppliers don’t include these or make it clear that they are needed but these solved the problem despite most plumbers merchants not stocking an equivalent item.Only observation is that the seals provided are smaller than usual for a 1/2inch connection and don’t sit snug inside the connection. Other people complained that they leaked so I changed them for proper 1/2 inch tap seals as I expect if they were over tightened the supplied seal might be squeezed inside the gap rather than sealing the gap.See photo showing seal supplied compared with a regular seal.Still highly recommended and would buy again.
