SomethinglyFamily Card Game - Party Game for Adults, Teens and Kids

This is a brilliantly silly game - how else would I get to see my Mother In Law pretend to eat a sandwich mysteriously? Or my wife neigh like a horse guiltily?My in-laws (both nearly 80) enjoyed it as much as my youngest niece (8). The packaging suggests the game is suitable 12 years +, but in a family setting you can help younger children to understand what the adverbs mean. The rules are really easy to learn/adapt to the group you're playing with. This means they can enjoy the game - and improve their vocabulary at the same time! We made up our own version of 'inclusively' and it kept everyone in hysterics for a good hour.It is a very nicely printed and produced game - the cards feels like quality... and there are lots of them! Highly recommended for get-togethers post-lockdown.

Really enjoyed playing Somethingly! It was perfect for a games night with friends, really simple to play, everyone got involved. Love that there is such a huge variety of cards, I could play it over and over and always find new combinations.

We’ve had lots of fun playing this very silly party game, I didn’t know my younger son could play the drums so 'meaningfully' or my hubby eat corn-on-the-cob so 'spookily'! The sleeping dog was the only one not joining in with the laughter as she was described by the older son 'ironically'! If you like your games to be neatly structured, calm and sensible then this game probably isn’t for you, if you enjoy silly time with your friends and family then give it a go! Great fun!
