The Classic Tale of Peter Rabbit Board Book: The Classic Edition

I bought this book as part of a baby shower gift after my son received a copy for Easter from Grandma. The story is charming and timeless and the illustrations are darling. My son expresses genuine sympathy for Peter Rabbit which is so cute and arguably an important lesson to learn

This beautiful new art work adds to this classic story and makes it a fine addition to any little one's library!!

I was hoping for the original as a board book, but this is not the original with illustrations by beatrix potter

I snatched up a copy of this at Marshals for my 4 month olds first Easter. I've only gotten halfway through it so far (he's not a huge fan of reading these days) and I've noticed something quite interesting. There is a duplicate page! You see Mr. McGregor hunched over in his garden, turn the page, bam! There he is again. Same text. Same picture. Everything. It doesn't seem that a page is missing and I don't know if this is all the books. I do find it funny though. Other than that, it's a nice quality board book that I'm sure it will take us years to destroy. The picture are pretty awesome. Story is classic (maybe one day I will finish it). It was great for his Peter Rabbit themed Easter basket (also got Tickle Tickle Peter which he really enjoys).

A lovely sturdy book for the little ones. Very nicely presented. Make a superb Christmas present.
